I know many Christians like the idea of Make America Great Again......and in their way of thinking that means God will bring back prosperity to the nation good paying job will be everywhere. It should be at least considered that may not be God's No 1 goal. In fact the more prosperous a nation becomes they tend not to have a desire for God for they don't see a need for him. You get a nation knowing they need him more people may get saved. Oh some would say make America prosperous! Yeah sure and maybe see less people make heaven their home? I don't think God is always concerned about the loaves and the fishes. He can have higher more important things in mind.

It's idolatry disguised as patriotism and piety.

Obama lies and his followers believe his lies. I'll say it one more time: Obama believes in Islam and in Muhammad its false prophet. It doesn't matter what he said about Jesus because he knew he had to to win over Christian voters.

Contrary to Christianity, the Islamic doctrine of taqiyya allows adherents to deny they are Muslim if it would be dangerous not to. Obama practices taqiyya now and practiced taqiyya then to win over the liberal Christian voter.

On September 25, 2012, in his address to United Nations General Assembly, Obama said that "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam."

Not helpful without the quote in context.

Context: It is time to leave the call of violence

It is time to leave the call of violence and the politics of division behind. On so many issues, we face a choice between the promise of the future, or the prisons of the past. And we cannot afford to get it wrong. We must seize this moment. And America stands ready to work with all who are willing to embrace a better future.

The future must not belong to those who target Coptic Christians in Egypt -- it must be claimed by those in Tahrir Square who chanted, "Muslims, Christians, we are one." The future must not belong to those who bully women -- it must be shaped by girls who go to school, and those who stand for a world where our daughters can live their dreams just like our sons. (Applause.)

The future must not belong to those corrupt few who steal a country’s resources -- it must be won by the students and entrepreneurs, the workers and business owners who seek a broader prosperity for all people. Those are the women and men that America stands with; theirs is the vision we will support.

The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. But to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see in the images of Jesus Christ that are desecrated, or churches that are destroyed, or the Holocaust that is denied. (Applause.)

Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims and Shiite pilgrims. It’s time to heed the words of Gandhi: "Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit." (Applause.) Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, that’s the vision we will support.

Among Israelis and Palestinians, the future must not belong to those who turn their backs on a prospect of peace. Let us leave behind those who thrive on conflict, those who reject the right of Israel to exist. The road is hard, but the destination is clear -- a secure, Jewish state of Israel and an independent, prosperous Palestine. (Applause.) Understanding that such a peace must come through a just agreement between the parties, America will walk alongside all who are prepared to make that journey.

Now I ask you. Do you really believe the sentiments expressed above show a bad spirit because it's only pretending to preach love others as yourself to hide it's a Muslim who needs votes?

After what has been seen of Kamala Harris' performance the last 4 years; the Democratic party is backing her and the media is pushing her through?
DEMOCRATS PLEASE WAKE UP! CALL your STATE REPRESENTATIVE and tell them to PICK SOMEONE ELSE! 4 more years of Obama and the agenda will end it for OUR ECONOMY AND THEREFORE the common folk and our Country. GOD HAS A BETTER PLAN for our country and it ain't her! We have not been set us up as a Country by HIM to be brought down like this! It is time to get up and make sure we as a people are heard! They have force fed us candidates for way to long! Use the system people. It starts in our Towns, cities and states. Make a loud cry and don't stop. If one doesn't want Trump, then all this applies too!
So wake up Republicans also! It can not be a Government for the PEOPLE IF we ARE NOT DOING ALL that is availed to us through the system.View attachment 352281
Dude - relax. Kamala is not going to overturn the IRA which means America's energy independence will get better and more respectable as you break into a renewable and all-electric world. Your health system will shed a huge amount of fossil fuel pollution related costs, which will also improve your economy. And as energy prices gradually go down in the new energy economy, America may even be able to friend-shore other trade alliances like buying cheap T-shirts etc. Or have them made at home - because there will be more money floating around.

Yeah, but is she capable? Well, maybe that doesn't matter. Maybe presidents are just figureheads for ideologies and platforms. It seems they have real power, though, so capability should matter.
Which is why if I were American I would have voted for Biden - because he at least listens to the feedback of his team. You're electing an administration. But Trump? The Director of the CIA has said he didn't want to listen to intelligence briefings. Didn't want to be told! Also - didn't his administration have the highest staff turnover in history? The White House is NOT a reality TV show where you can shout "You're fired!" all the time. The best thing that happened to America in a LONG time was when the nation shouted that at him!

She was pretty much a ghost the last four years. What can she do? Can she navigate complicated political situations and get things done?
That is the nature of a VP. What can she do? She's a successful Prosecutor which means she has to be smart and pay attention to details. Researching big cases can be a team effort - so she's a team player. So she'll listen to others in her administration. Compare that to Trump's record above.

Yes. Simple common decency says it's very wrong. And it reflects very badly on those who resort to such comments.

What do you mean simple common decency?

Christianity is a real faith with a real God, and "simple common decency" has prevented, for too long in my opinion, lies about what the faith is and is not to thrive.

In the face of Islamo-facism, which is on a global rise, it's to our detriment because our faith is an actual defense...

But we have to have actual faith to overcome it, in the war that's come, and so I'm sad about that, because Christians don't stand up for what's right in the name of being nice so no one knows Christianity now, at a time we need faith the most.

So what is simple common decency? I think telling the truth has to be in there, or it's not all that decent.

The original comment, by someone else, was about people like Buttigieg adopting children because it was a 'good look'. That has been deleted and so has your original comment on that post. Because, I would suggest, of common decency.

Do you mind me asking if you have edited any of your posts in the meantime? I just want to make sure I'm not suggesting something which isn't applicable to you.

No, Obama is a Christian. He is not a Muslim and does not believe in Islam or Muhannad. You should stop posting this misinformation.

Agreed! I find it amazing how many people fall down this rabbit hole! As the wiki says:

Belief in these claims in the public sphere endured and, in some cases, even expanded during Obama's presidency according to the Pew Research Center, with 17% of Americans (including one third of conservative Republicans) believing him to be a Muslim in a 2012 poll.[2][3]
Obama practices Protestant Christianity. He attended Black churches while in his twenties. From 1992 until 2008, he was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ—a Reformed denomination. Obama left it in the wake of the Jeremiah Wright controversy. Since then, he has attended various Protestant churches, including Baptist, Methodist, and Episcopalian churches.

It seems many American "Christian" bloggers and pulpits have forgotten their basic moral code!

"You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor."

Or try this - in his own words:

"Obama, Feb. 5, 2009: I was not raised in a particularly religious household. I had a father who was born a Muslim but became an atheist, grandparents who were non-practicing Methodists and Baptists, and a mother who was skeptical of organized religion, even as she was the kindest, most spiritual person I’ve ever known. She was the one who taught me as a child to love, and to understand, and to do unto others as I would want done.
I didn’t become a Christian until many years later, when I moved to the South Side of Chicago after college. It happened not because of indoctrination or a sudden revelation, but because I spent month after month working with church folks who simply wanted to help neighbors who were down on their luck — no matter what they looked like, or where they came from, or who they prayed to. It was on those streets, in those neighborhoods, that I first heard God’s spirit beckon me. It was there that I felt called to a higher purpose — His purpose."

A lot of it seems to come from here:-

A YouTube video titled “Obama Admits He Is A Muslim” has been viewed nearly 17 million times since April 2009. But it’s totally bogus and the result of deceptive editing.
For example, when Obama says “I am one of them,” he doesn’t mean that he is a Muslim. He was talking about being like others who either have Muslim relatives or have lived in countries with large Muslim populations. At other times, the video edits out the words “I’m a Christian” and “my Christian faith” from Obama’s quotes.
https://www.factcheck.org/2017/01/eight-years-of-trolling-obama/
So what you have here is a church willing to support Donald Trump - a man who has fraud and sexual harassment cases in court, while also having the Director of the CIA say he is dangerous, does not listen to intelligence briefings - and leaves America vulnerable - and yet the church also spurns Barack Obama even though he seems to be the real deal!

What is going on? I'm NOT accusing anyone on this forum of this - but I can only wonder if some of the bloggers out there are out to get him because of race?

He used to be a Congregationalist, in fact, a member of my religious denomination. Now he mostly attends Baptist churches.
