During the visit of the Isreali Prime Minister pro-Palestinian protestors damaged monuments, burned government property and assaulted police.

Very few were arrested and we don't know what kind of manhunt is going on to find and arrest others involved.

This should be a massive manhunt for people who were involved in this. Anyone who takes down an American flag, burns it and raises another countries flag should be arrested and deported immediately if they are a foreigner. And if an American they should be arrested and charged with the appropriate crimes.

All other criminals involved in criminal activities should be found and charged. In exactly the same manner as those involved in Jan 6 were.

Agreed 100%. These protestors should have followed rules, such as not vandalizing others property. If one owns their own flag, or their own stuff, they can break their own stuff. However, breaking other people's stuff, especially gov't property is totally uncalled for, and illegal. These protestors (well, the violent ones) need to face some serious jail time at least 5 years, until 2030 at a bare minimum, but ideally 10 years. Both the 2024 protestors on the far-left, and the 2021 protests on the far-right should be held accountable and charged.

I honestly don't like the Jan 6 people getting so much time for a simple trespass and/or criminal.mischief.

I dont think these people.shoild get 5 years either. But if they aren't citizens they should be deported immediately after serving their time. They should be going after them like they went after the Jan 6 people.

I did say if they did it. I kind of think that implies that they actually did it. Which implies that tgey would have to have been proven they did it.

But you are entitled to say whatever you wish and ignore implication. No skin off my nose.

Agreed on this. And, would two years be more fair compared to 5 years? I am not a lawyer or legal expert, but jail time should be reasonably long, but also reasonably short.

Well hey, I will never be a legal expert, but my laptop might, as it is 54% of the way through processing 52 law-related documents, the Constitution, legal textbooks, and even the entire US Code, for a total of nearly 50 million words. By early August, it should have a basic understanding of US law. Then in August, I could maybe ask the AI how long the violent protestors could be locked up for, and when violent protestors who are not citizens can be deported.

It's interesting rhat our left leaning friends were all over the Jan 6 incident, but haven't said a thing about these people doing this. They wanted heads to roll, but this is a big ho hum.

I don't know if you all remember the guy that left tire marks on the rainbow crosswalk and how the left demanded he be hunted down and prosecuted? Where's the call for these people to be hunted down and prosecuted?

Well, as a centrist, I do not condone actions fro both the left and the right. Both sides have committed violence during the first half of this decade already. These far-left protestors should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Also, rainbow crosswalks are dangerous to cyclists, as slippery paint can cause one to fall, or cars to slide.
