We're dealing with a different ideology. We've gone from Liberal Feminism (1st and 2nd wave) to Radical Feminism (3rd wave). Radical Feminism is capitalized because it's a specific ideology that's based on Critical Theory (an ivory tower version of Marxism). Critical Theory identifies an eternal oppressor and the victim of oppression. There can be no compromise, treaty, or reconciliation with the eternal oppressor, because oppression is the essential character of the oppressor. Thus, the oppressor must be fought by any means available until destroyed or subdued to social irrelevance. There can be no equality with the oppressor, because equality with the oppressor means the oppressor is winning.
Moreover, everything the oppressor does as well as the oppressor's basic culture is for the sake of enabling his oppression. Thus, the oppressor's history, science, philosophy, art, et cetera, must all be discarded and replaced with the culture of the victim.
You can go back and look at the propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party during the Cultural Revolution and replace "imperialist" with "men"...that's how Radical Feminism works. And if you find it hard to believe that Radical Feminism is the same ideology, read the seminal documents of Radical Feminism such as The Feminine Mystique. The basis in Critical Theory is not a secret, they say so themselves, and the basis of Critical Theory in Marxism is also not a secret...they say so themselves.
