What happened to Adam's garments?

It was this garment, passed through the generations from Seth to Noah, that was worn by Noah when he sacrificed on an altar. It was one of the items that Noah saved and carried with him in the ark.

King James Bible
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

And the garments of skin which God made for Adam and his wife, when they went out of the garden, were given to Enoch.

For after the death of Adam and his wife, the garments were given to Enoch, the son of Jared, and when Enoch was taken up to God, he gave them to Methuselah, his son. And at the death of Methuselah, Noah took them and brought them to the ark, and they were with him until he went out of the ark.

Ham stole those garments from Noah his father, and he took them and hid them from his brothers.

And when Ham begat his first born Cush, he gave him the garments in secret, and they were with Cush many days. And Cush also concealed them from his sons and brothers, and when Cush had begotten Nimrod, he gave him those garments through his love for him, and Nimrod grew up, and when he was twenty years old he put on those garments.

What were these Garments made of ? They were made of Aearogel, look it up.

The suit would enable the wearer to be more or less invincible, allowing the wearer to be strong, invincible & to fight off any animal. to win battles etc.

So did Nimrod wear this suit & make him, in the eyes of God, a mighty hunter ?

I have just read your post. I'm left wondering what your basis is for everything that follows your quote of Genesis 3:21. For instance, where did you find the idea that Adam passed the garment on to Enoch, then to Methuselah, and so on?

Ah! That's more like it! Your earlier post stated these things as though they were facts. ("the garments were given to Enoch" and "Ham stole those garments", for instance). Your link however uses words like "tradition", "legend", "presumably" and "some Jewish writers say". God has not revealed to us in His Word what happened to the garments when Adam and Eve died. Thanks for the link.

This doesn't mean that myth is not true.

The Book of Jasher shares additional stories, particularly for Abraham and others in the Book of Genesis. Several chapters cover the life and rise to power of Nimrod, son of Cush, son of Ham. The Old Testament simply refers to him as a “mighty hunter,” but the Book of Jasher indicates that he was the idolatrous king in power during the attempted sacrifice of Abraham.

Jasher doesn’t indicate that Nimrod was “always” idolatrous, but the story isn’t clear. “God gave him might and strength.” But I wonder if the might and strength came by virtue of wearing the Edenic garment or from righteousness that merited God’s strength.

It's always appropriate to quote any and every text we use.

I know about the garments story from the book of Jasher. It's hard for me to connect the dots. (Ham and Canaan are also key figures) The Late Rob Skiba had a lot to say about Nimrod. One was that he genetically became a giant or gibborim. Did he use the garments in this process? I'd have to look up exactly where Rob talked about this. It's been a while.

[Gen 10:9 NIV] 9 He was a mighty hunter* before the LORD; that is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD."

*
hayah: to fall out, come to pass, become, be
Original Word: הָיָה
Definition: to fall out, come to pass, become, be

Rob's interpretation was, " He became a mighty* hunter."

gibbor: strong, mighty
Original Word: גִּבּוֹר
Definition: strong, mighty

The same root word is used in Genesis 6:4

[Gen 6:4 KJV] 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men* which [were] of old, men of renown.
