My poor wife and her family have been taking their hits lately. She texted me a couple hours ago and said she just found out her brother is in kidney failure and needs to start dialysis immediately. He's in his early-mid 50s, diabetic but not obese or anything. He's been hospitalized quite a few times for insulin-related issues and now it's mutated into this.

My wife says my MIL is inconsolable and my wife is pretty scared cause she doesn't know anyone who's gone through dialysis before, so she doesn't know what to expect. My aunt went through it a few times cause she had multiple transplants (kidney and liver), but she was a very reckless diabetic who wasted the second chances she got.

Anyway, if you could add my wife's brother to your prayers we'd appreciate it.

Saint Marina of Antioch, pray for us.

Lord have mercy! I’m so sorry to hear this. May the Lord, guide, heal, and bring peace and comfort.

Keep us updated. :praying:
The good news is apparently he's much more compliant with doctors now. He's always been really resistant and defiant of doctor's orders before, mostly out of fear.

Well that’s a good sign. Praying he receives a healing.
