Yes, Berean Standard Bible, Genesis 1:

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man

over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it."
New International Version:

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
English Standard Version, Genesis 5:

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man,
The Hebrew language was male-dominant.

he made him in the likeness of God. 2 Male and female
But it included females as well.

he created them, and he blessed them and named them Mana when they were created. 3When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
Again, the culture emphasized males, but Adam also had daughters, which were not mentioned.

Genesis 9:

6 God said to Noah, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for God made man in his own image.”
Was killing a woman okay? Of course not. Again and again, "man" included woman as well.

Berean Standard Bible, James 3:

9 With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men,
i.e., men and women

who have been made in God’s likeness.
Are Women Made in God’s Image?

Yes, indeed. The confusion is due to the ancient Hebrew male-dominant culture and language.

Hi Tonychanyt thank you for your post I think we can let St Paul answer this one

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

So in Christ we are all equal

Love and Peace
Dave

Yes, indeed. The confusion is due to the ancient Hebrew male-dominant culture and language.
I my opinion, this has nothing to do with outward appearance because God is Spirit. Instead, God's image is perfection.
