Hunter Biden Convicted In Gun Trial

Hunter Biden was convicted on three felony counts related to a 2018 gun purchase.

The 12-person jury reached a verdict in the case after less than a day of deliberations, convicting Hunter Biden of lying on a federal form to purchase a gun by checking a box that he was not a drug user, lying to a federally licensed firearm dealer and illegally possessing the gun for 11 days.

The three charges carry a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and $750,000 in fines.

Are there mandatory minimums on this?

I'll be honest I actually think Hunter has a very real drug problem and his family are a bunch of enablers. (Can anyone say dysfunctional?)

He probably could likely benefit from a punishment tailored with this in mind if there's not a mandatory minimum.

Good for our DOJ. This conviction demonstrates the independence of our justice department. I suspect his dad might commute or pardon his son in January.

Actually the fact the now infamous laptop was entered into evidence and confirmed under oath by the FBI as both really Hunter's laptop and confirmed as 100% unaltered material on it makes it political.

There was a LOT, a lot, of other stuff on that laptop... Just saying.
