The other day I met a priest named Fr. Douglas. I'd never heard of a St. Douglas so I searched online and cannot find one except one 16th century RC saint. Two questions: is there an EO saint named Douglas? And, for some reason I'd always assumed that priests take the names of saints. Is that not necessarily the case?

If it’s ok to ask from an outsider, do most Orthodox priest have a Saints name for their priestly title?
In the monasteries, when a novice is tonsured a monk then he is given a new name, but if that same monk is later ordained a priest, he may be given a new name, perhaps even at each ordination (deacon, priest) and then again if made a bishop.
A monk who some people may remember from Monachos.net, Fr Averky of blessed memory, was a convert from Roman Catholicism, and his mother complained that each time she saw him he had a new name ^_^
