Surprising how many people are utterly gullible and easily led to believe in such nonsense as a flat earth, the moon having its own light source, fake moon landings etc etc...

The Christian ones twist and contort scripture to suit their extremely wild and fantastical interpretation of God's word.

Not sure if you know this but, this thread is about conspiracy theories..

Not sure if you know this, but ... this forum is designed to be a place for entertainment and fellowship. I do not see where it was designed to be a place to debate over whether or not it is moral or sane for Christians to pay attention to conspiracy theories, or to mock or scold them for doing so.

(Am I missing something or what? )

This forum is set up under the topic of
"Hobbies, Interests and Entertainment".
Specifically, the purpose of the "Conspiracy Theories" forum is this:
"This is a forum for discussing topics that are considered to be conspiracy theories."

Clearly, there are strong opinions on the subject of conspiracy theories, and some are against those who are interested in them. All the more reason for discussions like this one to be conducted in a general debate forum, or perhaps even a denomination specific forum.

Okay, now, to address what you've said in your posts:

FYI: I am a Christian who is interested in some conspiracy theories. Though I am, I am also not "utterly gullible", "easily lead to believe" in nonsense, or "one" of those Christians who "twists and contorts Scripture" to suit my "extremely wild and fantastical interpretation of God's word." (Lol ... you may think I am "one" of those, but I do not.)

I believe there are many Christians like myself, Christians who explore conspiracy theories out of interest, even entertainment. Whether or not this corrupts our witness is no doubt a matter of personal opinion. (Again, a good subject for a debate forum.)

Hope that helps explain some things to you, while I understand that you may still think it wrong for Christians to pay any attention at all to conspiracies or conspiracy theories.

... a matter of personal choice, right?

We try blessing people by not telling them how foolish they are and how much wiser we are. Love edifies and we all stumble together. We are all foolish

Yes, we all have weaknesses and blindspots ...
the only perfect person who ever walked this earth was Jesus.

Lol
(I enjoy your sense of humor ... if I had a doggie biscuit, I would toss you one!)

p.s. I found this to be helpful, in understanding the purpose of this forum:

Conspiracy Theories Forum Statement of Purpose

Welcome to the Conspiracy Theories forum. This is a forum for discussing topics that are considered to be conspiracy theories. This means that your OP should present a conspiracy theory that you believe in and can post supporting evidence for (i.e. YouTube videos, articles, deductive reasoning). Other members may then ask questions and/or challenge the content of your posts with opposing data. Choosing to participate in this forum means that you are aware that your personal beliefs and theories may be challenged, however, ridiculing the theories and beliefs of another member is not allowed.

Members are never to be personally attacked. Please understand that in a debate the discussion may become heated at times. Keep your focus on challenging the idea, not attacking the poster. Flaming is defined as an attack on another member's character, as opposed to their arguments or beliefs. Blatant flames toward another member such as, "You stupid moron," are unacceptable and will lead to staff actions. If you stick to discussing another member's arguments or theories, rather than their person, you should be fine. If you are focused on contributing to the community in a positive way then you won't become a disruption.
