Arguably, that's him recognizing a external force keeping him responsible...though I imagine those comments are more lighthearted jabs and his staffers.
Or him stating what his handlers will or will not let him do or say.

The same people that print out those cars that tell him when to ENTER and EXIT the room.
Regardless it undercuts your reasoning.
I don't see when that happened.
Funny how Trump stating he doesn't need to be responsible for anything and a proven truck record of attempting to avoid accountability so is meaningless to you.
Can you give an example?
If someone tells you something about themselves that had a lifetime of evidence to support it, you ignore it because you are blinded to that persons true nature, not because they are a good person.
Let's assume that you are right - and Trump is not a good person - what does that have to do with anything?

Twice (at least) he has stated he has not done anything wrong....or needed to ask for forgiveness.

Why would I WANT someone who's "not a good person" to be a world leader Zaha? Whether I am in an ally country or not. I'm not convinced Trump even saw Canada as an ally, despite our history. But forget that: Why would I want people to be ruled by someone who is not a good person?

By implication you are saying that being a good person has nothing to do with being a good leader.

In relation to what?

If they do their job well.

I would chose "led" as opposed to "ruled" - the POTUS ain't a king.

Correct.

Your subjective view on what is "good" has no bearing on reality. On what people actually decide to do.

I saw that the world was more prosperous and safer when Trump was POTUS.

In relation to what
Well, God.
And COVID.
If they do their job well.
That is very subjective. You mean he passes laws you agree with, I'd imagine.
Your subjective view on what is "good" has no bearing on reality. On what people actually decide to do.
As does yours.
I saw that the world was more prosperous and safer when Trump was POTUS.
So what does trumpnhave planned economically that you feel will increase prosperity for Middle and lower class americans?

Well, God.
Trump claimed to be perfect and sinless?
And COVID.
What did he do wrong with COVID that would require him to ask forgiveness?
That is very subjective. You mean he passes laws you agree with, I'd imagine.
More like making peace agreements, more jobs and more money for everyone.
As does yours.
The results are reality.
So what does trumpnhave planned economically that you feel will increase prosperity for Middle and lower class americans?
I don't know particularly - but I suspect something similar to what he did before.

He couldn't make it any worse.

In my opinion self reflection is the BEST way to become a better person and certainly the best way to improve job performance. At the very least, it's the FIRST step in personal growth; realizing where you faulted and made mistakes and be determined to improve on those mistakes.

What mistakes do you think President Trump has reflected on and what changes do you think he would consider to handle those mistakes better.

Same question about Biden?
we have no idea what people think ... why speculate? We can only go by what they say (and even then can be questionable). Most politicians never admit any wrong doing (mistakes). We can look at what they do or have done and then it's a matter of opinon whether it was a "mistake" or not.
