New stuff always has to be filled with too much digital tech. It detracts from the experience. At least 2014 was slightly before the era where everything had to have a touch screen. I am hoping that you can get two decades or more out of these bikes. So, what drove you (pun intended) to get two bikes instead of using one, as one bike is cheaper to operate compared to two? Also, what are the miles on the odometer for each?
Also, what are your thoughts on electric motorcycles? I know that Brammo made one in the 2010s, and Harley released one in the 2020s. I am not a fan of electric bikes for folks who prefer long range trips. But, these bikes could work for short range trips and save on gas after a while. But, if one really wants a green bike, the Germans got stuff up their sleeves, an electrofuel which has the same chemical composition as gasoline, but it is expensive. But hey, current gasoline motorcycles are already pretty green.
