Yes, Paul was called to minister to the Gentiles. Acts 10:45 "The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles."
And in Gal 2:7 we can all see the difference between Peter and Paul .
All that Christ is telling PETER is that a Change is coming and Acts 28:25-28 is the proof .
