I couldn't care less what will be the result of my life.
Brother in him, I am so very sorry that your heart is heavy. Pour it out to Him! He doesn't speak audibly... but He WILL listen and calm your very soul. We have not because we ask not. Jesus is relational. Tell Him that you don't know what to ask. Ask Him to tell you what you need to know. He will! Open your bible to the book of Psalm. The Holy Spirit will lead you, I assure you! Shake your fist, cry, tell Him you are upset, tell Him everything, I promise you that He will hear you!

  • Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

  • Psalm 119:28 My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word!

  • Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

  • Romans 8:28 - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
  • Isaiah 40:31- But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

  • My power is out and I'm having to use my hotspot on my cell which is almost dead.

You are in my heart, Friend in Jesus! I am praying for you without ceasing! All of Jesus' Love, Comfort and Peace to you! I am so sorry that you are suffering.

He will place his very Holy Spirit within you. He will give you Peace, Joy, Patience, Love, Happiness. I assure you.

Jesus isn't a behavior thing. Jesus is your most intimate friend for life and then life beyond. Do you understand this?

There can be no other conclusion, than that the Beast will reign, until He has come, and made all enemies His footstool.

Therefore I say, Come, Lord Jesus :openmouth:

Can someone help me understand exactly what words it is he is talking about when he says this:

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
We are to live life in the Spirit and not the flesh.

I think that, the heads of the Beast receive power whenever time is taken into consideration. To be a subject of the past, and not the word of God, or dreading an image of the future, and not faith in the Word, is to be put under his dominion.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth's "Words" are all about the Kingdom of God. He revealed His Kingdom, not of this earth, in many ways and the path to His Kingdom is only through Him. Prior to the passage you pointed out He was speaking of His Body and Blood as a metaphor of His Holy Spirit promised by Him to dwell in each and every believer. This is the way to the Kingdom. We start by hearing then by believing His Word and we inturn Love Him. He will then fill the believer with His Holy Spirit , His Living Waters.
Blessings

I find that, if I do not focus on some core principles, or if I were to forget them, things get very sad and confusing immediately. If I fall for my identity being rooted in the past or the future, the works that I have done, or anything I imagine in the future, I lose track immediately of everything that has to do with the gospel. If however I recognize the authority of God, and the work that he does for mankind, I can surrender everything to him, and all I have left is faith.

My Wonderful Brother in Him… that is called Saving Faith! Amen!
We are all Peter, climbing out of the boat, walking above “Death”… though our decaying bodies are dying and bullet riddled with marks of living in the midst of wickedness… and our daily failures due to “Privation”. It’s so easy to forget that it’s Him… and look away. Then, we look to ourselves and weep as we sink! We cry out… LORD Save Me! He never fails, despite our failings. He Lovingly reaches down… pulls us back from the roaring Water… and every time it happens… we learn a little bit more that It’s all about Him and Him alone. We become more and more instinctively accustomed to “Turn our eyes upon Jesus and look full upon His wonderful Face”. <3
