  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The court heard 61 arguments in 69 cases this term (some of the cases were consolidated for oral argument), 20 of which the court has already decided.
Opinions in some of the biggest cases, however, have yet to be issued. These cases address issues ranging from government censorship of online speech to abortion drug regulation to Trump’s immunity from criminal prosecution to how much deference courts should give to federal agencies’ interpretations of the scope of their own authority.
The court heard five cases this term that could significantly reshape administrative law and the regulatory state.
In Relentless, Inc. v. Department of Commerce and Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, for instance, the court will decide how much courts should defer to agencies’ often expansive interpretations of federal law.

The decision in the CFPB case was already announced in favor of the CFPB.

The Federalist Society, the orchestrator of a conservative court takeover, is interested only in domination, not justice.

They need to recuse themselves from this discussion. Permanently.

Conservatives are the ones interested in justice. Meanwhile, liberal politicians have openly talked about stacking the SCOTUS to add to its 9 justices by increasing the amount of Supreme Court justices up to 11, or even 15. The liberal politicians strongly desire to take over the SCOTUS.

There’s nine Justices to run the 13 Circuit Courts, (11 circuits + DC and the Federal Circuit), there’s too much work spread over too thin a “workforce”, we need at least another 4 Justices.

It would be nice if we had an even number of Justices, say 14, (6 democrats, 6 republicans, and two centrists), and if there is a tie, the justices could fight, anime style.
