No, its literally kidneys. You try to interpret what they could symbolically mean, beyond the literal meaning of the word. Which is what most Christians do also with Genesis 1, 2 and many other biblical places.

Well your pretty smart so I’m sure you’ve already looked it up and saw for yourself how many definitions the word has and I just provided two more words that have nothing to do with kidneys pertaining to where our thoughts come from. Do you deny that these words refer to the mind and the heart?

Just kidneys.
Its actually my point. That biblical words are frequently symbolic. The same with Genesis 1, 2 and many other biblical places.
They had no idea that our thoughts and emotions are in brain, so they used kidneys. In the same way they had no idea about space or how our atmosphere works.

And some know that Bible is a 1,000 pages library of various genres and styles, written in various cultures and ages, so one must be careful to not believe literally what does not correspond with proven reality.
Its like saying "some believe youtube and some don't", ignoring that youtube is a huge library of various documents, entertainment, discussions etc.

And like I said before, you haven't listened to it properly - or maybe not understood it.
Young girl: why has nobody you been to the moon for such a long time?
Not - "why did you lie about going to the moon?" Or "did you really go to the moon?"
Buzz replies "because we didn't ..... go there". In the context it is quite clear that he means "because we haven't been there" i.e haven't been to the moon for such a long time - not "we never went to the moon at all, it was all a con."
Yes, that is not the best way to phrase it, I would have said "because we (meaning astronauts) haven't" rather than because we didn't. Even so, he is not saying that no one EVER went to the moon.
He goes on to say that he wants to find out why people stopped going; when they know why people stopped going, then they can do what they need to start again.
"I want to find out why we stopped" - it's impossible to stop something that was never started, or didn't happen. "So that they can start AGAIN" - again means that it has happened once/a few times then stopped.
CONTEXT is important; whether in the Bible , YouTube or anywhere else. As I've said before, there are other clips of Buzz speaking about his time as a pilot on Apollo 11. No doubt you will claim here that he is lying - because he is not saying what you want to hear.

And all that proves is that the maker of the clip doesn't understand context either/is ignorant/is deliberately misunderstanding the clip so he can "prove" his point.
Proves nothing. Except maybe not to trust people who have their own agenda.

Right, so don’t believe the Bible is what you’re saying again. I know this I said this a long time ago. I don’t know why you keep going on about it. I already said that you don’t believe it so why are you droning on about it?
And the age of the earth is not proven. Get your facts straight. I can open YouTube and yeah I can verify that YouTube does exist. That a bad example what we can’t do is go back in time and see how much isotopic decay is present in rocks. So no the Bible hasn’t been proven wrong yet.

Ok I concede it means kidney, I apologize my Strong’s concordance app adds the term “of seat of emotion and affection” in the definition. This still has nothing to do with the usage of the word day in Genesis 1. I can find all sorts of verses where body parts are sources of our feelings & thoughts, what I can’t find are other verses using the word Yovm that refer to anything other than a day or daytime even tho it’s used 1900 times in the Old Testament.

Not to understand the word "context" is excusable. Strange, because it's simple enough to find out, but maybe you don't know how.Lol'z and he still says the same
Not to realise what someone means and need it explaining, is excusable. Strange, because it was your own clip, but anyway.
But to have it explained/pointed out by several people and relying with the words "lolz" and "blah blah" is rude and. quite frankly, makes you look ridiculous. It's like someone sticking their fingers in their ears and saying "I can't hear you".
