An Ohio man is behind bars after officials say he traveled across states to meet and sexually assault a teenager.

Stacy Lee Austin, 49, drove over 400 miles from Belmont, Ohio, to Rowan County, North Carolina, according to a Facebook post from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

On March 5, the 15-year-old’s parent called 911 after he came home and found Austin inside his house, officials said.

When [investigators] questioned Austin, he admitted to engaging in sex acts with the juvenile, according to officials.

So this creeper, an ephebophile more accurately (one attracted to adolescents not children) was arrested. Good.

It's irrelevant which particular business he owns, except in the general way that that these people tend to gravitate toward where the kids are, whether schools or to employers of teens. Not sure why a woman's post that he started a business is relevant here- for some reason I only see a social media post and not an article with police details.

Lord help us all.

All well and good but if he is a good Christian who begs forgiveness he should not face punishment. I do find it suspicious though that his history as a drag queen has not been explored.

Of course! This man’s Christian values and belief in his Salvation had zero impact on his choice to travel cross country to do a sexual abuse on a child. When it comes to whether or not a fella decides to do a sex abuse on a child their Christianity is simply irrelevant.

I know of no evidence that the alleged perp professed to following Christ.

Because Truett Cathy, the late CFA founder, professed Christ, and fashioned the management of his stores to show kindness, and especially close on Sunday; CFA is associated with being "Christian Chicken" . There is no requirement for management, employees, customers, or chickens to be Born again Christians.

The Word doesn't deny that. There are many warnings to believers in Scripture, of false teachers creeping into a fellowship. Jude 1:4 is one of many examples.

No, the post is about a single individual. It would be wrong to demonize an entire group based on the acts of a single member. Especially if the goal was to rile up low information voters by demonizing such a group.
