The only way to solve the Red Sea crisis would be to put boots on the ground to protect the waterway and also with the Saudi help. It also might solve Yemen's 10-year civil war. Is there another way the current strikes seem ineffective or we can just wait for a ship to get sunk?
And, as a bonus, the republicans can poo-poo Biden either way. If he sends boots on the ground, he's a warmonger, and if he doesn't, he's a weakling.
Why do you make this political? In my book, it's an act of war and this ex-Republican is mad. Biden could rally the nation if this gets worse. I'm not sure what foreign ships were fired at but I am certain one of ours was hit.
