I've spent a lot of time (years) studying the path to World War 3. Isaiah 17 is one event that could start it. That's where Israel wipes out Damascus.

I saw this Tweet (post) where Israel is now threatening to wipe out Damascus:

If Israel does nuke Damascus, then the US will be in serious trouble. Retaliation will be coming. Likely there will be a delay until spring.

No, the current events in Israel is not the beginning of Armageddon. However, it may or may not develop into the Gog/Magog event of Ezekiel 38-39.

Unless you are living in Israel or Gaza there is no reason to be scared. imo, Israel is taking the wrong course of action by destroying buildings in Gaza by bombing, as that kills innocent people who have nothing to do with Hamas. The bombing approach retaliation is only going to intensify the resentment and hatred.

The Israeli government should target leading Hamas officials and any militants who took part on the attack, on an individual basis - and not retaliate against an entire group of people. Senseless killing on both sides.

Gog/Magog - followed by the seven years - ending with the Armageddon event. Look for your redemption of your body to take place in the rapture/resurrection event instead. And avoid either the entire 7 years all together, or the worse part of it.

The events in Israel right now are a sign that we are close to the rapture/resurrection.

Matthew chapter 24 . We're seeing the beginning of sorrows. Labour pains getting more intense for the antichrist. Jesus told us about this in Matthew chapter 24, mark chapter 13 and Luke chapter 21.

At the 6th trump, satan as antichrist comes to Jerusalem, 5 month period.

Isaiah chapter 14.

Satan is not the Antichrist.

Most people fail to see the influence of spiritual entities at play in this conflict. People do not see that this whole world is under the influence of the unseen realm upon the people of this world. While the beast and false prophet are cast into the lake of fire, satan is not. He is locked into the bottomless pit for a thousand years.

Are you being serious or joking?

First, wars happen all the time. Unless you live there it shouldn't be particularly frightening.

Secondly, Israel is not a specific race under the New Covenant, it is simply God's people, and today they are called Christians because Jesus came the old age ended and the New Covenant began. This is traditional theology across the board.

Even if you don't believe the above, there are still plenty of reasons to see this as simply another war, one that will end at some point and doesn't mean Jesus is coming back tomorrow.

That said, oftentimes fear tells us things. If you fear standing before God at the judgement, then perhaps you should do some soul searching as to why that might be.

God never changes and His promises are true. If your saved then you'll be saved, the price was paid already.

Christ said there will be wars and rumors of wars, kingdom will rise against kingdom. But these things aren't the end of the world. He calls them "birth pangs".

So do not fear, Christ is Lord and has conquered sin, death, hell, and the devil.

He says to you and to me, "In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have conquered the world!" (John 16:33).

The tragedies and violence committed in the Holy Land, perpetuated by violent people on both sides of the conflict, are not a sign of the end. They are the woes and sorrows of a world in pain.

Instead of worry, pray. Pray for peace. Pray for life. Pray "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Take up your cross and follow Jesus.

One of the simplest explanations is that the beast was Nero and the false prophet was Gessius Florus.

Nero was one of the most cruel persecutor of Christians and Gessius Florus goaded Jews into the First Jewish-Roman War.

Regarding lake, flames, brimstone etc, Revelation uses a symbolic language.
