However kicking off this discussion we need to make a clear distinction between Possession and Oppression.
I hold the position that it is impossible to be possessed as a believer because the Holy Spirit is in residence (if you define possession as a complete indwelling takeover and control).
Oppression however is a spiritual vulnerability that renders one prone to attack from the outside.
This is dealt with by confession, repentance, renounciation, cleansing, infilling, healing and sealing.
Christians can suffer from this oppression through trauma, sin, abuse etc.
Simon the sorcerer is a good example of a believer who was still carrying spiritual wickedness.

Yes I concur with you, a Christian can't be possessed by Demon or Satan but rather can be oppressed .
Regarding my first question , I think after salvation Satan doesn't give up on believers rather he becomes more agressive and this is why ,sometimes we start experiencing strange oppositions in destiny pursuit or our spiritual walk with God .
For instance , it's possible that a Christian might still need deliverance for Anger or certain addiction or reoccurring situations in their lives and families.
Again I found out from the Scripture that someone's Family linage can affect you either positively or Negatively as a Christian but not until u deal with it in a place of Warfare and Deliverance prayers and this is where the principles of generational blessings or Generational Deficiency comes into play .
In my second question about Deficiencies in Family linage affecting a Christian or not, I would say yes it can , except someone stops it through converted Deliverance prayers .

The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power. Unstable as water, you shall not excel,

After the Jacob placed a curse on Reuben , his linage experienced shortage in male children and possibly premature death of their male children until Moses broke the curse .
I have seen many born again christians experiencing situation like this but not until they received Spiritual warfare and deliverance prayers .
To some it could be poverty, divorce , addiction, witchcraft , anger , premature death , childlessness and etc.
HOW DO YOU NOTICE A GENERATIONAL FAMILY DEFICIENCY?
When there is a negative reoccurring of family pattern of a particular situation.
It's now left for you to carry forensic Spiritual investigation regarding your linage
and then engage the principles of Spiritual warfare and deliverance prayers .

NKJV: when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.
Apostle Paul identifies a particular positive generational spiritual blessing of Godliness in Timothy's linage and commends him .
In Nutshell, Salvation of our Soul is one thing but the Salvation of our Family tree or linage is another thing and it's our responsibility to deal with negative issues associated with our linage .
When we fail to identify and deal with these spiritual deficiencies associated with our linage,they can hamper the tendency of a fulfilled Christian life as we might encounter series of opposition,afflictions,crisis and repeated occurances.But in no doubt Heaven is ours when we die .
