It is 3 months ago today, that my husband went home to be with the Lord.
So very hard to believe, he has been gone now 3 months!
When grieving, sometimes time passes very quickly ... other times, it is very slow ...
But I wanted to thank you all, for being such a pleasant place to fellowship!
My husband was not well for years; I started coming here just to read, relax, (learn!), take my mind off our challenges.
I came here because it was a 'safe' place to fall ...
One can come to OBOB and not be 'attacked', criticized, debated on every word they post.
One can actually come here and 'relax'.
And when going thru difficult things, sometimes that is what is needed most ... kind fellowship.
It is very nice, that one does not need to be a Catholic to participate here.
I wondered how that would work, but it does!
What I think is really important to say, is that there are many places to "fellowship" online ...
but there is not the fruit of the Spirit seen everywhere.
It was in continually seeing the fruit of the Spirit demonstrated here ...
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control ...
that I was attracted to this place, and would continue to return.
(Where the Spirit of the Lord is, that is where I want to be also!)
So it is in reflecting this morn, upon the many things that have happened in my life these past 3 months ...
that I just want to say 'thank you' to you all, for being one of God's helps to me during a very difficult time ...
