  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Where can "God the Son" be found in any of God's writings conveyed through His prophets?

Son of God - is in the Bible
Deut 6:4 - One God -- is in the Bible
Matt 28:19 - in three persons "Father, Son and Holy Spirit"

Titus 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus

There is a specific way to say "our Great God the Father and our Savior Jesus Christ" but Titus 2:13 does not say that.

Rather it says "our Great "God and Savior" -- and names Him "Jesus Christ"

John 1:1 in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God - and the Word WAS GOD!

His going forth was "from everlasting" from all eternity.

Heb 7 says He has no beginning and no end.

John 1 says He created all things that have come into being

7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

...There is no wording that calls Jesus, God the Son. There is no need for Jesus to be called God the Son. The Bible perfectly communicates that Jesus is God (The Son) and is part of the Godhead of The Trinity along with The Father and The Holy Spirit. With all three be equal in Divinity

...There are just people who do not believe Jesus is God, only to their own disbelief of the evidence provided by God, of who Jesus is, in The Bible.

...Thomas Knew Jesus was God along with all believers in The Bible.

Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Gen 15:2 But Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”

I believe Isaiah covered all His names.
Blessings
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
