A routine work trip turned into a “nightmare” when a hotel guest visiting from Texas awoke to a Hilton manager sucking his feet, he told Tennessee news outlets.

Now, the man accused of committing the assault early one morning at the Hilton Nashville Downtown has been arrested. News outlets didn’t list attorney information for the man, identified as 52-year-old David Neal.

Never did understand the "feet people".

Also never understood the people who don't set the deadbolt on their room when staying in a hotel.

But I guess this could be a good sales pitch for other hotel chains.

"Unlike some 'other' places, we'll never break into your room for foot fetish reasons...that's the Marriott Guarantee"

I'm pretty sure not matter what a person's proclivities are, the "feet people" always seem to be in a league all their own in terms of perceived oddness and are almost universally seen as "weirdos".

And in my time going down the rabbit hole in various facebook groups where a lot of "odd" people seem to frequent (the libertarian movement seems to have a disproportionate fascination with feet and redheads, not sure why), the foot thing usually isn't their only odd preference. There's almost always another odd fetish that accompanies it.

I've never been one to subscribe to the theory of what they call "adult content creep" (using that expression since CF always switches the P word to something else if you type it), but if there was ever a case to be made for it, it would be the foot people. Where they've looked at so many naked people doing random things on adult websites and exhausted every other genre to where they've now developed a fascination with a body part that's not sexual at all.

Brings to my mind the so-called horseshoe theory, which states that the left and right actually come closer and closer to agreeing with each other, the more extreme they are.

But maybe I'd better not mention it. The "shoe" part of the expression might trigger the guy.

The horseshoe is a two-dimensional representation of a political spectrum is going to require at least one more axis.
It’s “true” so far as it goes but it’s a stripped down version of “political thought”.
