Authorities responded to the Allen Premium Outlets to investigate a shooting Saturday afternoon that killed at least one person and sent at least nine others to hospitals, with a victim as young as 5 years old.

To be honest, and I’m not proud of this, I struggle to sympathise entirely with events like this in states that likely overwhelmingly support and vote accordingly to maintain the status quo, or even reducing restrictions.

The sad part is when kids get caught in the middle, because often times they’re the ones paying the price for their parents’ decisions.

My wife's cousin and daughter were there but ran into a store and hid in the back room with a number of other customers.

Guess we need to arm 5 year olds. Oh wait, one of our friends is the substitute for the teacher who was shot by the six year old.

Sadly, I saw an ad last night for body armor and I'm actually considering it.

...it's sad that being killed by a shooter has become part of our risk calculation when one goes out in public. During the Cold War, children hid under desks for a nuclear attach that never came ....in 2023, they actually die in malls in schools from our own citizens.

Active shooter drills should never be part of a child's curriculum.

Perhaps time that America is forced to see the results of these events. People parade abortions around to make their point, so maybe forcing the indifferent among us to look at the lifeless bodies of murdered children will yield similar results.

People should be genuinely ashamed for not wanting to try and limit these events. Especially those claiming to be pro-life… but hey, at least the little girl with her face blown off with an assault rifle wasn’t aborted, right?

Surely another million or so guns will get us over the hump and we will see violent crime rates like other developed countries just around the corner.

While the investigation remains ongoing and authorities have not zeroed in on a specific motive, the source said the deceased shooter was found with an insignia on his clothing that read "RWDS," which authorities believe may stand for "Right Wing Death Squad."

Utter speculation: could be a Proud Boy upset about the sedition convictions. Proud Boy example unrelated to this incident:
