To be honest, and I’m not proud of this, I struggle to sympathise entirely with events like this in states that likely overwhelmingly support and vote accordingly to maintain the status quo, or even reducing restrictions.

The sad part is when kids get caught in the middle, because often times they’re the ones paying the price for their parents’ decisions.

...it's sad that being killed by a shooter has become part of our risk calculation when one goes out in public. During the Cold War, children hid under desks for a nuclear attach that never came ....in 2023, they actually die in malls in schools from our own citizens.
