Robert F. Kennedy Jr. files paperwork to run for president as a Democrat | CNN Politics

Environmental lawyer and anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to run for president in 2024 as a Democrat.

I read somewhere today that Steve Bannon urged Kennedy to run as an agent of chaos. Mr Bannon does enjoy some chaos it seems. I have no issue with the guy running. We need better options than Don or Joe. The past two presidential elections the president was elected simply to prevent the opponent from winning, not because we were enamored with the choice.

Wah! No way! He's a big time advocate of nutty conspiracy theories. I'd vote for DeSantis over that guy, and I don't want to vote for DeSantis!

(Of course I'd still vote for Kennedy over Trump, but I'd be loudly cursing the American public for nominating the two.)

I've heard good things about RFK Jr., and JFK is my favorite President from the Democratic Party. If JFK had been successful with some of his agendas; this country might not be in the mess that it is in right now. I'm going to have to look deep into RFK Jr.'s campaign. I might need to switch parties for this upcoming Primary.

Gerald Celente has been advocating for RFK Jr. to run third party, with Judge Napolitano for VP.

He believes that this is what we need to pull the people of this country together, and get it back on track.

RFK Jr. has my attention. I look forward to hearing what he has to say.

Well he spoke out about concerns with the Covid vaccine so he is labeled a conspiracy theorist and a wacko. Other than that I don’t know enough about him to speak for or against him. I just thought it was interesting that Biden would have a challenger in the primary if he runs again.

The operative word here is "if."

I think that Biden would do a great service to this country, and the Democratic Party, if he would retire after this term, and let someone with some new ideas take a shot at healing our nation.

Why can't we have great candidates? I don't want Biden to run, either. The GOP has nothing to offer. This country is full of people, and we can't do better? We deserve everything we get.

VERY popular in the conspiracy set.

He gained notoriety in the early to mid 2000s with a "documentaries" and books pushing a lot of wild and already debunked vaccine conspiracy stuff. In recent times, there has been a natural pivot to COVID-19/Big Pharma conspiracy stuff, plus a bit of George Soros & Bill Gate globalists/NWO conspiracy nonsense in there for good measure (although a lot of it is oblique).

He's also pushed, at various times, AIDS conspiracies, election fraud conspiracies and some very odd attempts at historical revisionism when it comes to minority access to healthcare. EDIT: I found more, he's also been pushing conspiracies about 5G/mind-control, microchips in vaccines to track peoples' locations and stuff about fiat money/digital currency. Charming.

I'd say he has the same chances as a paper doll in a blowtorch, but you guys elected Trump, so who knows?

A Kennedy? We already have 0 Kennedys in elected federal office and that seems more than enough.

Plus this Robert Kennedy guy is a known agent of all virus-kind. We don't need that.

Grassroots movements, providing personal contributions, to push candidates with our interests to the top, might be an answer. However, no matter how much money we little people can raise; the big money still controls the media. Look at what they did to Ron Paul. At that time he had raised more money, from personal contributions, than any other Presidential candidate in history. Even with the best funded campaign in U.S. history, the media crushed him. BTW he called the mess that we are in now.

Aside from that the bankers can print more money than will ever pass through the hands of the majority of Americans.
