Who is the Holiday God ?

Why is Dec 24th and 25th so special ??? The same with Good Friday ???? Almost everyone one gets paid to take vacation on those days. And if they work , they get double pay on those days... Why are we celebrating those days ???? There are many gods and many beliefs, why do we only get christmas and good friday off ??? Is Christ thee only true God ???? There is no god. Yet we get free vacation days for a fake god called jesus. we must only celebrate true gods. no more free vacation days. ever !!! dont you agree ???

An answer in two parts.

1) I'm in favor of businesses giving days off for holidays of other religions as well, especially when there are large numbers of adherents of those other religions among the employees. Some businesses approach this by giving employees a set number of personal days each year, which they can allocate to the days of their choice.

2) Your profile says you identify as Christian, but you also refer to Jesus as "a fake god called jesus". What is your view of Jesus, and why do you identify with the religion named for him if you think of him as fake?

Or, of course, maybe you're just trolling.

I never got paid when I did not work. I got overtime pay, but I still had to work for it. I do not remember anyone ever giving me a tip. I am pretty sure I have never been paid for any religious work. God pays us for that. There is plenty I do all the time for people that I do not get paid or compensated for. Why do people think they are entitled to get paid when they do nothing for that money? We are told we will have treasure in Heaven and that is what Jesus teaches us we should work for.

Paid time off is part of an employee’s compensation. They are not getting paid for doing nothing.

They save your money for you. They ran the unions out of this area because they wanted $32 per hour with all of their benefits. Turns out there were people in other states that would work for less. So they moved their factories to where there were no unions and the wages they had to pay were less. A lot of jobs got moved to China, but now that we have so many robotics the factories are beginning to some back to America.

The fact is me and many others get paid not too work on Dec 24th and Dec 25th and on Good Friday. Why just Jesus ? Why not celebrate other gods with free paid vacation days or automatic double time ? Thats discrimination against gods

Gods Holydays are show on the Hebrew calendar, not on a roman calendar altered by a pope.

For example Passover is on the 5th of April [Nision 14th on Hebrew calendar] this year.

There is a reason a time traveling machine will never exist. Time is just an invention of man. The sun rises and the sun sets. Thats it. The sun sets and rises on Dec 24th, Dec 25th and on Good Friday just like any other day. The fact is me any many others get paid not to work on those days.
