My name is Dorliana. Fun fact: my name is a combination of my mother’s name (Dorcasse) and my paternal grandmother’s name (Eliana). The meaning of their names is why I chose my username: DoeLight
I was raised in a Christian family & my parents took me to church every Sunday. I always believed there was a God but I never knew how to make a connection.
Nov. 2022, I received one of the most shocking and life changing news of my life. After these news came out, I had been receiving bad news everyday for 2 months straight. All aspects in my life were horrible: family, friends, work, my car, money & I was skipping church for the first time in my life. I was in a black hole, ready to end it all.
Somehow, in that deeply dark and endless emotional pit, God worked with that minimal amount of faith I had.
He picked me up (I can’t even tell you WHEN, my life just CHANGED), dusted me off and told me to start again.
He had been waiting this whole time
These hardships made me stronger and I give Him praise ALWAYS.
I found that Jesus is mine and I don’t ever wanna comprise Him.
I am now in this forum to continue to build my faith and encourage other Christians with this: tomorrow is not promised. for everyday you are woken up, you can get another blessing!
