Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow:

for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

1. In this commandment,
what is Jesus commanding, the children of God, to obey in their everyday life?
How do you understand these words of the Word of Life?

2. How do you disobey this commandment in your everyday life?

3. How do you obey this commandment, in your everyday life?

4. What happens to you when you disobey this commandment, in your everyday life?

5. What happens to you when you obey this commandment, in your everyday life?

6. What is the purpose or the objective of this commandment, in your everyday life,
given to the children of God to always obey, by Jesus the Christ?

You call this a commandment. Do you consider it a commandment of the same caliber as any other, or, more something along the lines of "advice", or even doctrinally relevant as to God's reliable providence and such?

This is said to elaborate Matthew 6:20 which talks about focusing on amassing wealth in heaven rather than the earth.

"Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.": Focus on the controlling the sinner within you more than worrying about what your body needs ("the morrow").

It is a commandment. Not only do I want to obey it, I love to obey it. It is my God.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth,

but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life,
which the Son of man shall give unto you:

for him hath God the Father sealed.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

Matthew 5:48

Be ye therefore perfect,
even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

In this commandment,
to them aspiring to obtain the salvation of God,
Jesus defines by the commandment,

to who and who has or has not been born of God.
For God to be your Father, you would have to be born of Him.

How is it that them, born of God, are perfect as
their Father, the living God, is perfect, in heaven?

Do you know? If so how is it?

constant worry (fear) serves no good purpose .... if is fueled by fear .... if one is continuously focusing on fear it effects our mental and physical stability. so if fear is foremost on our mind we need to change our focus and turn our focus to the Lord.

Fear

When I get too anxious about the future or the cares of this world my focus is removed form God. Then I'm lost, negative, comparing myself to others as I'm listening to the wrong voice now, an imposter voice that appeals to my pride and promises me something better if I keep paying attention, distracted from the truth. but that only has my destruction in mind.

You will find, that if you just take one commandment
of Jesus Christ and start to obey it, you will witness a change
that will take place in your everyday doings that will lead
to nothing but good things for you, both spiritually and physically.
And the more you obey them, and more of them, the more you
will fall in love with Jesus. Don't believe me...

Try it and see what will happen for you.

The more you deny them and disobey them, the more
the misery of sin will bother you nonstop. And it will keep

getting worse and worse, accumulating upon your life till you die.

What happens to you when you disobey this commandment, in your everyday life?

One experiences anxiety and/or depression.

What happens to you when you obey this commandment, in your everyday life?

One turns to reliance on the Lord for help.

What is the purpose or the objective of this commandment, in your everyday life,
given to the children of God to always obey, by Jesus the Christ?

So we might have peace.

John 16:33

Berean Standard Bible
I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.

John 15:10
If ye keep my commandments,
ye shall abide in my love;
even as I have kept my Father's commandments,
and abide in his love.

There is only one way
that anyone can receive the love of Jesus.
That is you have to obey His commandments.
That is the only way you can abide in Him.

True or false?

If you are not abiding in the love of God
then the wrath of God is upon you.

True or false?

Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.

Why does God have to command you to love Him
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,

and with all thy mind?

I will obey
all of the commandments
of Jesus Christ.

Nothing more,
nothing less.

The Holy Ghost
will do all the rest.

Who is this "Stephen", to be called 'the Lord's anointed'?

If it is not the Apostle himself, who calls him that?

I don't want to just be obedient
all the time unto the Lord. I want to be holy
all the time unto the Lord.

After all my God is the living God.
Nothing is impossible or hard for Him.
Therefore I have set my sights and my
expectations of myself, according
to my God's greatness.
