Now in this case, I can't find any indication that Rueda had sexual reassignment surgery, and lacking that I wouldn't actually consider Rueda to be a woman. Still, I'm fine using whatever pronouns people want me to refer to them as, I'm just polite that way. If she hasn't had the surgery, I wouldn't be inclined to give her the award if I was in the award giving position, but I'm not going to object to her getting the award either. As long as she does a good job acting the part while knowing her limitations, I'll let it slide.

I've been playing online games for decades. I don't know what the other gamers are like in real life. I'll use their game names and refer to them by their avatar gender unless and until the other gamer tells me otherwise. I don't see much of any difference with transgender people in real life.
