I'm afraid that it's going to come down to this, eventually. And it won't be a divide between political parties---it'll be a divide between liberty and sanity, and totalitarian lunacy.

article said:
“We need a national divorce. We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government. Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s traitorous America Last policies, we are done.”

I have no idea what Marjorie is trying to say here, or if I should even waste my time contemplating over it.

Is she calling for blue States and Red States to seperate into two different countries? Or is she calling for two seperate sets of laws, one for blue states, and one for red states, under one unified, but "shrunken" government? It's really hard to tell. I don't even know for sure if she's being facetious or honest. It's hard to tell because she's said so many wild things in the past, I don't even know if the Republicans take her seriously anymore.

I'm not sure exactly what she's saying, either; I think it's a statement made from disgust and frustration with the people whom she views as her primary political and cultural enemies (a view which I share with her, in part). She seems to be saying that there is utterly no hope of reconciling with the other faction, and the best thing to do is simply to separate from them completely.

She is not alone in expressing such a concept---try reading through the nonsense below. It doesn't suggest any solutions, but the writer, I suspect, leaves the conclusion unstated: there is no hope of co-existence, therefore the only solution is complete separation:

Who gets the nuclear arsenal?

Right? It's just way too complicated to even suggest that it's a possibility.

And during the process, all the crazy countries would be having a heyday... A true recipe for global disaster.

Ever reflect on what would happen if the Chinese inflicted an EMP attack on us, and fried every electronic component in the country? What happens to all the cooling functions in all those nuclear power plants after they all go off-line?

Well, they overheat, fission, and explode, that's what. Imagine a Chernobyl event in every last nuclear power plant in the country.

We never should have built those friggin' things to begin with.

Never thought of that possibility before. Yikes.

I’ve thought of it and we should be protecting against it by strengthening our electrical grids by now but we haven’t…..not sure about the nuclear systems though. You’d think they have those protected. I personally think they’ve been working the last few decades to divide and rot us from within.

She is just mouthing what a lot of average people are saying. If you on the limited government side of things, you get tired of seeing money totally wasted on pretty much nothing. You get tired of working a ton of hours each day, to help pay for some able body person to sit at home pulling a check to, well, vote Democrat. You see that there is no light at the end of the tunnel and you get tired of it.

I don't think anyone really wants to see the United States split, but something has to change. Because what we are doing as a country just isn't sustainable.

But I'm getting to the age, knowing that it is mostly young folks voting for all this frivolous spending are voting for this, and I'm like okay, its your bed, one day you'll have to sleep in it. And at my age, I probably won't have to sleep in it long, but you will; so have at it!
