I have Gnostic literature for my own learning, including a prayerbook. I haven't read it yet, but am still curious to learn more.

I can see why you’d study for various reasons. But only you know those reasons. I tend to be of the school of thought that sees things as garbage in garbage out. Like a sponge they soaks up dirty water will squeeze out dirty water. Now if you are going into it for apologetics, etc., that could be helpful I suppose.
