As has become tradition I'm going to go out on a limb without reading anything and propose that this is either wrong or an obvious misrepresentation (by the Senators, not the OP).

btw, I would be interested to know where you got the idea the Chinese, and per Gox Chinese Communist!, are coming across the southern border.

There is taxation without representation, but this is representation without citizenship OR taxation.

They've been coming over for a long time, but the increase is the last number of months has been dramtatic. I get me sources questioned, you can check the government's own stats at: Nationwide Encounters
Choose southern border and one check box for the country of China, you can see the dramatic rate of increase in the last number of months.
Now these are the ones who are stopped. It makes sense that governments with serious money can pay the cartels enough so that there is little chance of being caught, and of course if caught they can just try again.

+700 Chinese encounters from December to January. That's hardly "dramatic."\

OTH, there was a 90k drop overall for the same time period.

If only 1/10 of 1% have terrorist intentions, that would be 40000. That is an army.

In 2022, roughly 10.6 million immigrants living in the U.S. were born in Mexico, making up 23% of all U.S. immigrants.

DC Council passes non-citizens voting bill

This bill allows non-citizens, including undocumented immigrants to vote in the District's elections. Next, Mayor Bowser will have to approve.

It all depends whether you are concerned about espionage or not. It's the same for terrorists, they have only caught about a hundred on the terrorist watch list since Joe took over. In both case we don't know exactly how much extra money helps gottaways, I would think it would help a lot.
