Google search brings back nothing but a white page.

It's been doing that for a couple months now.

It doesn't happen all the time but often enough to drive me batty.
I tried to use another engine; but it was Dogpile and of course it's favorite engine is Google!

So I went to my browser's settings and put Bing in the default position.
But when I went to use search; Google was still in the box!!!

Anyone know what's going on?

When you get a blank page, what's in the address bar? What browser are you using? Does the same thing happen if you use a different browser? Have you tried refreshing the page (F5)? Are you using the actual Google website or a search bar on the browser's interface?

no; search in Edge works uses Bing
yes--comes back with the same white page
both--either way it's--white page

In fact; when I try to go to Google.com--it comes up with a white page

I did a bit of reading on Vivaldi, it sounds interesting and I decided to give it a go. I'll also try to see if I can recreate the issue you are having.

EDIT: Google search worked fine for me. Have you tried reinstalling the app?
