I am not happy that there were in history, the witch hunts, that even educated people took the nonsense seriously. It was very sinful and disobedient to kill the accused. Paul capped the whole Bible message with ministry to such people, such as the Greeks.

Now people are worried about Tolkien's wizards, Harry Potter and Christians supposedly wanting dominion... It is falsehood leading to unnecessary division. It is fake news all around. Medieval witches never really existed. Alleged NAR preachers when asked say they are not NAR and they may say it does not exist.

We need a wake up call.

The term witch should not be used. It's origin is slanderous and deceitful. And it was surrounded by violence.
Today's Satanists have protections due to past extremities. Better just to say Satanist or necromancer or devil worshiper. There is no real witch.

witchcraft is very real, and can do a lot of harm, maybe burning the witches was extreme, but if justice were served rightfully in this world, there would be a lot of witches in jail for harming other people, really this is dangerous spiritual stuff and can do a lot of harm.

I am saying Satanists exist, but the term witch is faulty. I have heard and seen Satanists wickedness, the harm it does. But the even the accusation towards medieval witches no good. They should not have been acknowledged. One saying was "sink or swim, to judge if they were witches or not. So if they sank they were innocent, if they floated they were witches. The talebearers, the slanderers were having fun, inwardly aggressive, outwardly just, by a poor definition. Such people still exist.

In a previous thread I posted, "should hate worship be banned?"

Even Satanists have people out to evangelize them. The Old Catholic church went awry wrong when it brought back Roman burning at the stake for heretics... Some people enjoy this. It is wicked.

All doubt does is stop God and allows the enemy to come in. All Adam and Eve did was listen to then act on a lie. Get this Adam and Eve never once agreed to hand over give away what God already gave them. It was not even on the table. And Satan and ever fallen angel and ever demon and everything we read about in the OT NT still happens today. We see time going back but for them where God is where they are there is no time. So many moved by what only they see feel doubt. Which stops God.

So when the bible OT NT.. OT? its not old Gods word is never old. So when we read there are things we should never do never touch don't be apart of and we do it anyway based on our personal belief its not real so its ok. Does nothing for there is not truth in that.

So me if God is not part of it.. I don't want it. And if my or any imagination is higher what ever goes against Gods word I will not listen to it. As the word says I give no place to the enemy. Its not God telling us its US telling God "its ok we can do it".

So yeah its very real. What happen in the past I can not change so I press forward. I mean no offense

Try to understand history from the culture and era it existed in.

People feared witchcraft and witches of that time tried to use
their beliefs to harm others. Regardless of their failure, people
believed it and persecuted the witches as a means of self-defense.

Our 21st century mindset tells us that the beliefs were wrong, but
I can tell you that even today, people do become demonically
possessed when they deal in the occult. I young woman I know
is serving life in prison after murdering her former boyfriend using the
beliefs she developed in the occult.

If you deny that demonic possession is real, go to the library and
take out the book, "Hostage To The Devil," by Malachai Martin.
It's about five documented cases of demonic possession. The first
part the author explains how demonic possession takes place.

I've been Possessed twice so possession is indeed real but it's not just due to the occult,
nor is it what I've seen in what deliverance videos I've seen as they seemed more like they were being compelled or influenced not "possessed"

Not just due to the occult, I agree.

However, it just doesn't take place like turning on a light switch. It involves surrender of the will
by the person, to the demon. Once the demon has possession of the person's will, the demon
then controls that person. The level of possession has to do with the level of surrender the person
gives over to the demon.

Yes and No,
It does depend on a few things,
However they can still possess you even if you are ignorant of it,
Just the 'level" of possession as you have indicated is different.
I myself had been possessed willingly as at the time due to experiences in Life I was convinced GOD had forsaken me,
So I was a willing participant in possession and even though it nearly killed me one of the two times, it didn't stop me from continuing as i had been (neither time was I Born Again)
