The power is through His Holy Spirit.

Peter and John after the man was healed told the people that kept looking at them "why do you look at us as if we did this by our own power? That name faith in that name healed the man". Had dream a while back just word "you do not evoke/speak the name of Jesus enough". In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.

"For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,"
"Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven."

Where is the phrase from? I've heard of 'Power in the Blood'.

There is 'power' in the name of YESHUA but that power is actually a confirmation of belief and faith in the son of GOD.

It is really shameful that theology is taught in songs and people believe it without holding it up against the Bible.
Many mislead in their 'worship songs' and lead millions astray.

Repeat a phrase or name is a common method of Buddhism. Some Jewish Buddhists listen to Sanskrit words with melody. These words have some power to erase unhappy memories. But this way can not build a way to understand Biblical words directly.
