Maybe not so much faith .... but .... worship

A pastor once said that the thing you esteem most in the world is what you worship. This means that everyone in this world, even the staunchest atheist, worships something, whether it is a material object, a person, knowledge, worldly pleasure, or power.

Their belief is that there is no God. There is no evidence for this belief therefore they live by faith just like any other religion but it is true that atheism make a God out of science falsely called in evolution and the big bang theories to help explain their existence outside of intelligent design which is where they worship.

And yet Darwin wrote that God created the first living things, and an atheistic scientist (Fred Hoyle) assailed the Big Bang theory when he realized it implied a beginning to the universe.

You seem to be on the wrong side, if you have faith in God.

From what I could tell, you’re a wise Christian.

So for someone like me,I’ve been struggling with the eating question that I never want to face.Understandably, atheists are not good people, especially hawking and Dawkins, and I don’t support them, and with me I’ve been struggling with the question “what if atheists are the right ones, and we Christians are the ignorant ones?”.I have OCD and questions like these trouble me to my soul. But for me I’m worried because I love God and want him to be real,I don’t want to live in a universe without the Lord.

I'm a Christian. How wise I am, is a matter of opinion.

I have OCD and questions like these trouble me to my soul. But for me I’m worried because I love God and want him to be real,I don’t want to live in a universe without the Lord.

The answer is easy and reassuring. "God doesn't care what you think of evolution." That's not how you will be judged. Jesus makes that very clear in Matthew 21 and elsewhere. You can be a creationist or an evolutionist, and it won't affect your salvation a bit. There are good and devout Christians on all sides of this question.

So don't let it bother you. Now there are people on different sides of the issue that try to make you believe that you must accept/reject evolution to be a "real Christian." Their salvation might be at risk, but not for their opinion on evolution. Rather, it's for adding to God's word.

Believe what you will (or won't) believe about evolution; if you follow Jesus, it won't make any difference at all.

God can use atheism for good as he did in mine and many others “situations.”

Bishop Barron and Jonathan Pageau explains well what is currently taking place with lots of former “new atheists.”

I would take your focus off other people and their beliefs/non beliefs. That is for them to decide. Not saying don't spread the word of God to them, but don't dwell on them or let them influence you. If you spend a lot of time with someone they can influence you, even online. 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Once your faith is strong you will be in a better place to talk to them(on things relating to God) if needed. You may be able to connect on a different subject matter such as cars.
Focus rather on your own walk with God first.
