For we heard:
“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these MIRACLES that thou doest, except God be with him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Our Lord Jesus, as a Son of Man can do these miracles because God with Him.

How have our Lord answered ?

“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.””
‭‭John‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved ones, these miracles start from being BORN AGAIN, that our eyes may perceive the kingdom of God, for God will be with us.

To God the Father be thanksgiving through Christ. Amen.

What do you understand by the term "kingdom of God"?

Is it a spiritual kingdom or a physical one?

The governance of God instead of man in a place not made in our own image, but His. Jesus went to prepare the place. We gt to compare the governance of man to the governance of God while here and choose for ourselves which is the better while practicing what we have learned and comparing the two against each other.

Kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom where God reigns.

Do you think Jesus's audience was thinking like you?

For example, when the 11 asked Christ Jesus the final question before he ascended to heaven, Acts 1:6

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Do you think the 11 were thinking about "a spiritual kingdom where God reigns"?

Why you think I was thinking like Jesus’s audience ?

Have you not considered what has been written before Acts 1:6 ?

“to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Lord has been speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

And the Lord have answered what they asked Him in Acts 1:6,

“And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

You are asking,”Do you think the 11 were thinking about "a spiritual kingdom where God reigns"?”

Have you also not perceived that the Lord Jesus has been speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God ?

Have you also not perceived that God is Spirit? For we heard the Lord Himself said:
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." -John 4:24

So God is Spirit, and so His kingdom is spiritual kingdom where He reigns as King.

So God is Spirit, and so His kingdom is spiritual kingdom where He reigns as King.

So instead of understanding how Jesus, and the audience he was speaking to, would understand the term "kingdom of God", you prefer to use your own understanding of that term.

Alright, thanks for sharing.

The presence of miracles (signs and wonders) along with the preaching of the Gospel shows that God is working with the preaching. So if there is preaching of the Gospel where the signs and wonders are absent, it may be an indication that God is not working with the preacher for some reason. The usual reason is that people are trying to preach the Gospel using the world's methods, in other words preaching it according to the enticing words of man's wisdom rather than with demonstration and power of the Holy Spirit.

I think Paul hit the nail on the head when he said:

"“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”' (Romans 10:13-15).

Verse 15 tells us that there is a difference between being sent to preach the Gospel and preaching it without being sent. Paul wonders how a person can really preach the Gospel unless he is sent. This implies that if a person is genuinely sent by the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel, then He will work with them with demonstrations of His power in the form of signs and wonders. One then has to consider that if there are people preaching the Gospel and nothing is happening by way of signs and wonders and genuine conversions to Christ, then they may be doing on their own recognisance rather than being actually sent by the Holy Spirit.

So, it could be seen that because much of the preaching of the Gospel is not accompanied by signs and wonders, that very few preachers of the Gospel are actually sent by the Holy Spirit, and are doing it according to their own conditions rather than being led of the Holy Spirit.

Of course, to go into some countries to preach the Gospel where people lose their lives for just owning a Bible, one would have to be sent by the Holy Spirit to even attempt to cross the border into those countries. If they weren't sent by the Holy Spirit, they wouldn't get two feet into the country before being arrested, imprisoned or killed right away. Of course there are those who are sent by the Holy Spirit who do suffer the same consequences, but not after doing some very effective work for Christ in that country.
