I came to the Lord at age 5, after being tormented in bed every night by demons. After being taken away in the spirit, and coming face to face with Jesus Christ in all His Divine glory, my life changed forever. Life wasn't always easy, and looking back, it was because of my ignorance regarding the Holy Spirit, His role and so on.

So, in my mid twenties, after some time at a Charismatic church, I discovered who the Holy Spirit is, His role in our lives and one of the greatest secrets this side of eternity: The fact that the Holy Spirit is perfectly equal to Jesus Christ in His Divine form, with all the knowledge, power and love of God The Almighty. And the key was to verbally invite Him to guide, teach and shape me, and to submit myself completely to His will. Since that time, 24 years ago, my walk with God has deepened, and my love for the Holy Spirit has grown tremendously, and also for my Father, the Almighty. The revelation of the tenderness of His love changed me. There were so many times when He intervened in miraculous ways to save me from death, destruction and mayhem, that I could write a book on it. This has, more and more, continued to fill me with awe, admiration and love for God and how very deeply He cares for us, His children. And now, 44 years later, I have finally discovered what it is like to walk in full submission to the Spirit of God. I have found peace in God. Life still happens, but nothing that I can't comfortably handle. I now know that our God is so much greater than I have ever imagined, and that His glory is truly infinite.

Praises be to the Lord God, the Almighty Creator of Heaven and Earth.

Agree wholeheartedly. Even here, I notice many have anger issues. Seeking and acquiring the peace of Jesus Christ and the the tranquility of His Holy Spirit - the Comforter, is supremely beneficial and necessary.

Out there in the world is all kinds of madness, but in God there is so much peace to be blessed with.

Wow, reading your post has brought back memories of my childhood. It appears we have had similar experience.

When I was a young boy I remember being terrified one night in particular. I was sleeping in bed and had the experience of being pushed down in bed. I was being pushed by what I can best describe as a force or pressure or spirit whilst lying in bed and I felt I was being pushed slowly down through my bed, through the floor of our house and into the earth! I was awake now but I could not move I was temporarily paralysed and no matter how hard I tried to scream for help I could not make a sound!

I was terrified and after what seemed to be maybe 15 seconds of struggling to move and scream I finally was able to sit up. At that moment I heard myself screaming and jumped out of bed and dashed to my parents bedroom and banged repeatedly on their door to get them up.

I have never been so afraid as that night. After my Dad repeatedly told me it's just a nightmare I put my bible on my pillow and lay in bed too scared to go back to sleep. After several hours I fell asleep.

It was also in my mid-twenties when I started to discover just how great is our God. Following 10 years of binge drinking, drunkeness throughout my adolescence I prayed on my knees one night for God to deliver me from alcohol and turn my life around. 2 or 3 months later I quit alcohol and 22 years on I have not looked back. Amen!

I have also been saved from countless situations where serious injury or death was imminent. Angels have been watching over me for a long time.

And, since my mid-twenties, over the past 22 years, each year I grow and mature spiritually in my walk with the Lord. And I am ever-increasing in my awareness of the Lord's greatness. He is a merciful Saviour and His love has no limits. Every year that passes I am more in awe of Him and feel more blessed.

When God opens one's eyes it is truly a blessed thing.

Interesting thing that - anger issues. I was born with a safe guard against anger. It's called migraines. Whenever I'd fly off the handle, a few days later, I'd have mind bending level migraines. It took many years to recognize the pattern. But after that happened I was able to restrain myself more and more. And in the past year, the couldn't have been more than 2 very mild ones. Not even close to the intensity of the past. Funny how life falls into place when you have peace, and the wisdom to keep such peace.
