The disease that I've battled for years recently entered the terminal stage. Despite this, I was still thankful for what The Lord gave me, even as I battled this disease. With treatment, I can (in theory) prolong death. However, I'm doing everything the doctors tell me and am still in a lot of pain. It seems pointless to stay alive only to be in constant pain. I don't see a way out and am tired of fighting. Hospice seems like the only good option. Please pray for me that I make the right decision.

Thank you.

I am very sorry you are at the end of your disease. Helping people like you is why I am in seminary. May the Lord be with you as you make this decision and face this terrible situation, knowing a better life is not far away in which there will be no more pain or suffering. May the Holy Comforter be with you now and in the days ahead.

So sorry to hear this. I pray that whatever the Holy Spirit decides for you to do will be the best option for you in this trial. Please continue to be patient, read God's word consistently and let your mind be filled with it. He will lead and guide you through this period. God bless

THE HEALING YOU NEED IN THIS TIME BE GIVEN TO YOU IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

THE WISDOM YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO BE GIVEN TO YOU IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

THE HOPE AND TRUST IN HIS PROMISES BE GIVEN TO YOU IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

Psalm 103

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
3 who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his acts to the people of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 He will not always chide,
nor will he keep his anger forever.
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
13 As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame;a
he remembers that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more.
17 But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children’s children,
18 to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
19 The LORD has established his throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.

20 Bless the LORD, O you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
21 Bless the LORD, all his hosts,
his ministers, who do his will!
22 Bless the LORD, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
Bless the LORD, O my soul!

Psalm 23

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

I thought about these verses to share with you:

Isaiah 38:1-5
1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord,
3 And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
4 Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,
5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

I pray for God's grace in Jesus Christ be poured out on you for your healing. Don't give up. May the Lord bless and guide you!
