For sure. Most working musicians are not worth a ton of money. Quite the opposite actually. I have a day job, but some of my music people rely on the shows for income, and covid time has been awful for them.

Though he is well respected, he does not appear to be anywhere near that well respected. In the various polls that I found Clapton outranks him. This is not the best of polls even though it should be:

Both are boring. When I was a teen I was into a different type of music. 99.1, And later heavy metal and hip hop.
