Can you provide scripture that expresses this? Thanks
"18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

"Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."

"3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

etc...

Is the spiritual realm simply symbol to our physical world? Is it only a mere picture of reality? Or is it as real as the physical world? Which one is more real? This issue has come up a lot in many of the discussions I have had in various threads. What say ye?

This is much like the question ... Do you believe in who you believe yourself to be ...

The scripture in Hebrews where Moses saw the real temple that the tabernacle was a copy of, this reality eventually became the person of Jesus Christ in our world.

So when Moses "struck the rock" when he was asked to "speak to the rock" to make water flow out, God got mad at him because of what that represented.

This is an esoteric concept that can only be gleaned from half scripture verses and the Holy Spirit's guidance, so it's okay if anyone disagrees based on a different experience or no experience of anything related.

It's kind of like another concept from Hebrews where Levi paid tithes while in the loins of Abraham, (thus so did anyone else related by blood, thus while in the loins of Adam I too ate the fruit of knowing good and evil) adding another dimension to responsibility in that the seed is equal to the root and also the fruit, in God's eyes, they are one in the same. Concepts like these are for light conversation, not so much for proving.

None of what you said necessitates a literal interpretation of Genesis. In fact, it challenges us to stretch our narrow views and interpretations.

We begin to relate to God in the heart rather than the mind.
I disagree. If God is outside of time, then He can manipulate time however He wants. Whether I would like to imagine that He did so in the way that the Bible says so is irrelevant. If God is able to literally create the earth in six days, I don't see why I shouldn't literally interpret His doing so. It doesn't matter how necessary anyone else finds that to be.

I am not trying to stop you. I just don't see the necessity.

I don't know that that means that everything created in the physical is a copy of what is in the physical, though it wouldn't be hard to imagine it to be so.

What you have stated makes me want to give Hebrews a re-read

Also :)
Aren't we (as the Body of Christ and individually) the temple of the Holy Spirit? How can we be the temple of the temple?

Perhaps what Ephesians 2:22 + context is talking about.

Our whole walk is based on spirit. Take that away, you don't have an eternal Christ and so the faith is useless.

As far as other forms of spiritual matters ( demons, angels etc) you probably haven't experienced that yet. You need to live in the spirit first of all. It's funny you bring this up today because I've been on fire since 3:30 am and its now 6:10 pm here, about spirit vs flesh and what Romans the 8th chapter says right at the outset. I'm not preaching tomorrow but I wish I was, I'm locked and loaded !!
