Some of my friends have thought they can study Business Management and then find a job, but were a long time disappointed. Certainly one who knows management can be of some value in the work place, but employers usually promote from within with those they can see have adequate skill. Though if one is going to start their own business then perhaps a Business college is what they need to learn fundamentals.
As a former family counselor, I would advise one who is interested in the business world in large corporations, to also consider a minor (or major) in Personnel Management. That will impress most big business people who need such help; and also opens opportunity in some Social Services in a community by one who knows people nature and needs; etc. We need to plan ahead for the best opportunities for a career ---would you say?
