In the light of true equality, we should be like the Soviets of old who often were accused of inserting men into women's Olympic sports. With the reversal of standards in today's world, I often wonder who really won the cold war.

I think that would happen to anybody who put rights ahead of responsibility, especially when you consider that rights are an illusion and subject to the whim of governing bodies.

This is already killing woman's sports. The Transgendered men are simply bigger and stronger than the woman and usually come out on top. I have read stories in Massachusetts where the girls are upset that they are no longer winning .

Sad.

They do not fear retribution from God, because God only works through those with faith. God promises victory to his believers, that is why they don't want you to believe in him, they only fear our retribution, because we are God's people.

So basically, going and picking on someone their own size.

I remember I think a friend of mine was watching a south park episode, and a trans athlete was basically out doing everything the women could do, because it was basically a dude in a dress.

I mean, I would accept maybe like 1% of the population probably do have a real problem, but this is going to far and is not helping, it is destroying the idea of the sacred feminine.

Possibly I don't know too much I am not that well versed in sports and it's been a while since I watched south park properly. In my opinion however just to further this point men are stronger than women, however women give birth which is incomparable to any strength, and men being women is a mockery of that. In a way, what two consenting adults do in the bedroom is one thing, I don't think that is a sin as such, I think the sin is bringing a fetish into the open community, like what they are doing with sports stars.

For example, and this is just my opinion, I don't think it is a sin to be gay straight up, God created everyone and loves us all, I think the sin is trying to turn a minority into a majority and imposing that onto society. In a truly wholesome society you might get the occasional oddball but as long as your a family I think that is what God intended. Like the issue with Sodom wasn't that they where gay, it was the fact that it had become the entire basis of society, the cornerstone of society, the true corner stone is heterosexuality, or the Hieros gamos. I however, fear we might be living in Sodom.

It did make me laugh however because it kind of is the reality, this man in a wig out performing all the women.

I would like to be able to congratulate the Somerset Berkley field hockey team, who just won the Division 1 state championship, but I just can’t (“Somerset Berkley repeats as D1 champ,” Sports, Nov. 17). I am a longtime high school field hockey coach, recently retired, and I have faced the situation of boys playing on field hockey teams many times, going back to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association’s first court case in 1992.

The Somerset Berkley girls are extremely talented players, but the two boys on the Raiders put the team over the top. I watched them play last year and this year, and it is clear that boys at this age have an unfair physical advantage in speed, quickness, and strength. So many outstanding field hockey teams have been deprived of their chance at a state championship because of the dominance of male opponents.

It’s absolutely time for the MIAA to come up with a solution. No one is against boys playing field hockey, but Title IX was meant to create more opportunities for girls. The ideal solution would be to create boys field hockey, but otherwise consider bringing back the mixed-gender tournament, or accept the modifications presented by coaches, such as limiting boys’ participation in certain aspects of the game. Otherwise it should be renamed coed field hockey.

Years ago it was a news breaking big deal when girls wanted to play on boys' baseball teams and it happened. Then as a natural result, it was not as widely acceptable to have a boy play on a girls' team, but it happened. So much for equality. This is just an extension started by the gals way back. Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for as everything can come back to bite us down the road, in this case twice.
