You do have an alternative. You can either sit the race out because Trump and Biden are both disqualified from high office from a Christian perspective or you can vote third party as a protest vote.Trump being pro life and Biden being pro choice didn’t give Christians much of an alternative. I’m a Christian Trump supporter who doesn’t trust Trump as far as I could throw him but I could say the exact same about Biden as well. So in my case the choice came down to voting to save innocent lives or voting to advocate killing innocent lives which is no choice at all for a Christian.

The idea that we must toss aside Biblical morality and vote for whatever heathen is put before us because he happens to be right on abortion must be rejected by Christians.Or... you could vote for the fallen, sinful man (like we all are, unless you believe your Christ in the flesh), who will actually forward policies that actually do something toward keeping our constitutional freedoms...
Let's face it, to the left anyone the right votes in as president is Satan in the flesh - and Trump far outshone in policy anyone the globalist right wanted in, as he'd actually get something tangible done outside of bowing at the feet of their masters while talking a good game to placate the average voter they see (and treat) as little more than useful idiots.
As such, he was worth the chance and I did vote for him again, to which I have nothing to be ashamed of.
People can thank me later for the Supreme Court appointments and other benefits to Trump holding office. Don't worry, I'm not holding my breath.

toss aside Biblical morality
In the long run it would. But that wouldn’t be standing up against those who want to allow the killing of innocent babies now would it?
You're calling for antinomianism when it comes to voting, which would be shocking to any 19th century Christian.Show me a politician with BIBLICAL morality and I'll sell you some seaside property in the desert.
I don't see "really good con artist" as a prerequisite to the office of presidency. Although many seem to think it must be written somewhere in their Bibles.
Todd Freil has a nice way of explaining it:
(And I do apologize for my snarkiness as of late I'm just getting tired of all the political nonsense, he said / she said game... I wish people would just be honest and say they don't care for these policies already, those can at least be discussed honestly.)
In the long run it would.
Would it mean losing an election? Sure. However the message would be loud and clear. Nominate upstanding Christians, church members and devout believers, or we won't vote for your candidate. If you think the Republicans wouldn't hear such a message you're crazy. We should have done it in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020. Instead we got liberal McCain, a liberal cultist and two races by a serial whoremonger who wouldn't know the truth if it hit him broadside. Three of those elections were lost. Surely we could have done better had we intentionally lost one of them. How so? What your suggesting is that Christians should’ve just stepped aside and did nothing to prevent the killing of innocents babies. So how would that be standing up for them in the long run?

The Republicans are already losing three out of four elections. At the cost of how many of thousands of lives?
If Trump is the social norm of our country the church needs to retreat from politics entirely and focus on theology and personal holiness. At least then the church and believers will be set apart from the world around them. The problem, is that, sadly, the United States isn't living in the 19th century anymore, and Trump, shocking as it may seem, IS the social norm of our modern society.
I spent a good part of my life wrestling with this, the evil that is American people... and while sad, it really is true... Trump is the picture of the average fallen American (only seems worse because he has the money to do what he pleases)
I didn't live inside the United States for nearly 50 years knowing little to nothing about Christ for no reason.
Do you know how many working women, BLM members, and members in the lgbtq my husband worked with at his last place of employment - of all places - in the Appalachian mountains there were? He, as a married, straight, working man, was in the minority. (may have been a slightly different distribution of persons in the coal mines here..but I digress)
The left, the far left, has infected everything (and its no better in our cities, I just left there not terribly long ago). We are in the middle of a Marxist takeover of our nation, and being "nice", has implemented:
1.) identity politics
2.) made certain our daughters have to shower out with boys in our school systems and use the public restrooms with men...
3.) provided for the slaughter of a million unborn children a year
4.) put us in so much national debt we are breaking
5.) has made it illegal in some parts of this nation to appropriately and Biblically counsel a gay person struggling against being gay how to fight their desires
6.) Had made it or was trying to make it illegal for a Christian or person of faith to refuse to perform an abortion on the basis of it being expressly against their faith, and was making it illegal for a faith based company to refuse to pay for insurance that covers items expressly forbidden according to their faith.
7.) Has permitted a myriad of law suits trying to remove a Christians right to religious freedom in the marketplace.
8.)Has quietly sat back and done nothing to effectively curb illegal immigration, to the chagrin of those who actually go through the due process necessary to be here legally. (Laws for you but not for them is inherently unjust...)
9.)Came dangerously close to signing over our national sovereignty in areas of immigration, 2A amendment rights, and environmental polices under the guise of trade agreements.
10.) Implemented a Marxist foreign policy....
11.) Stood quietly by while Marxist/Leninists worked to take over our internal national policy.
12.) Is now about to watch while the left implements policies that allow for child abuse under the guise of positive treatment for those with gender dysphoria..
13.) Stands by and watches while policies instituted negatively affect the family unit, and reinforces single parent homes which negatively affects the children involved, and do nothing to fix this major problem.
14.) Watches while we spend billions upon billions to prop up foreign powers who hate us, and don't want us there.
15.) Engages in one war after the other we have no business being in, while our own infrastructure suffers, and our own people drink poisoned water.
16.) Has installed one Supreme Court member after the other that doesn't even believe in the constitution
And I'll stop here because although there's more to list, I need to take a breath and you get my point... Scriptural truth is so little lived out in this country God has brought Judgement upon our heads...
Do you know what it looks like when God brings judgement upon us? Look around you... it's BEEN here for decades because NO ONE thinks THEY have to repent! (Always someone else's fault, never their own...)
Why do I say this? We can read in Romans 1:22-24:
Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies.
First sign of God's judgement - He gives people over to their sin... look around you again.
And you know what... I know truly and factually we are a nation under God's judgement, and I myself have repented of sin, but I wanted a little longer, I wanted to die as free as I was born, giving something slightly decent still to my own grandchildren, that they may grow in some small semblance of morality, whatever we can squeak out of a few good policies, before we loose what I had the privilege to be born into forever...
So for their sake, I tried for them, and I voted for the imperfect guy who might want the same for his grandchildren, and would be willing to actually fight for them.
Let's face it, its so bad he couldn't have, nor did he, make it any worse. its been like this for a long time, welcome to the America the rest of us see every day because those ivory towers don't block our view... We are, in point of fact, a nation under God's judgement.
I would agree with that, the church long ago abandoned Biblical Christianity. The mainline churches adopted higher criticism and scienceism over the gospel. The churches people call conservative today have their roots in the progressive social gospel of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. All of these churches have abandoned historical Christianity and worship for a mix of far left anti-Biblical theology, politics and entertainment masquerading as worship. We should have a good long time ago... Christian leaders deserted the gospel long ago...
I was a Muslim living in America all my life, and heard the first real Gospel truths only 8 years ago...
That should tell us all something. Christians haven't been Christian for a while.
You're calling for antinomianism when it comes to voting, which would be shocking to any 19th century Christian.
