Unfortunately many ballots did not arrive on time. I think we can agree, we (the country) must do better next time. For a country that pioneered overnight document delivery 50 years ago, it's down right embarrassing that we can't manage to move every citizen's ballot on time.

You cracked the case! The THREE absentee ballots in this guy's possession were the three that were going to hand Trump the win in New York!!!

Someone please inform the Trump Super Sleuth Team that we can now put NY in the WIN column for Trump!!!

By the way, for those who didn't read the article, here's the bottom line of the story (and anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong):
A mailman was being a bit lazy and would put a few pieces of mail that he forgot/neglected to deliver in a bin in the trunk of his car. Every once in a while he'd then put that mail back into another USPS sorting bin so that it would eventually get delivered. He had mail in this bin when he was caught with it at the border. Among all the mail in the bin, there were THREE absentee ballots. The article says only three, it does not say that there were any other absentee or mail-in ballots, just other articles of mail, and these THREE absentee ballots.

So, while the guy is probably going to get fired and with just cause, it was not some kind of voter fraud or anything like that. It was a guy cutting corners with his job and probably not really even impacting too many people too badly, and certainly not impacting the election. It's more that he violated some individual's rights with their mail, it's not some kind of voter fraud issue.

So, we can all agree that this was NOT voter fraud.

I'm not (unlike Trump supporters in PA or Georgia) saying that it's OK for votes not to be counted.

The person posting the OP has been making claims of election fraud, and 3 ballots mixed into undelivered mail in a state like NY isn't even a hint of evidence of it.

Talk about it in the context of "we need to fix this for next time", great.

Talk about it in the context of "Democrats are trying to steal the election", and it deserves ridicule.

They do it all the time in places like Detroit, Chicago, and Philadelphia. They did, however, forget to do it in 2016. Races were close, but the corrupt Democrats really dropped the ball there.

What's your definition of legal? Trump seems to think legal means any votes counted by midnight of Nov 3 but not after, even though they arrived on time and local laws prevented them from being counted ahead of time as was done in other states. Except in AZ. There the counting MUST continue.

if we want to talk about mail fraud, how about the thousands of mail that trumps cronies lost in the mail.
