Does anyone specialise in casting out demons/know someone who does?

I had a demon cast out of me....I don't talk about it too often but I understand what you are going through.

Sunlit Clouds, this is the 3rd time I'm trying to make this post and each time have opposition when attempting to post it. This is important and I'll try to make it as brief as possible.

First off, you are not making things up and truly in need of a deliverance. It would be very helpful to have some assistance in this, an experienced deliverance minister if possible. If in dire circumstance, go to youtube and type in "Derek Prince Deliverance". This is a man of God who has experience in this and leads you the steps in prayer to be delivered. Fyi, from personal experience, when you are delivered from spirit(s), it may come out in the form of a cough/yawn/burp/sneeze/etc during your prayer so keep that in mind. There is so much information Derek Prince provides from years of experience and I have found it very helpful. On a side note, just because a particular denomination does not believe in deliverance does not mean it does not exist. I pray that God would grant you freedom and bless you in your service to Him.

This is a quote that Smith Wigglesworth use to use. The problem is he wasn't a great reader. The reason I think this belief is wrong is it make you the final authority on all Scripture, and ignores the many many others God has chosen to bring clarity and teaching to His body. If you are a pastor, and you only use yourself and the Bible, I'd think you're actually robbing your congregation of wisdom that a pastor could gene from others. But in the area of deliverance, yes, use those who have experience in it.

Only eternal God not seen can cast out the unseen spirit of demons(legion). We do not wrestles against flesh and blood the temporal corrupted things seen and neither are we empower by it..

Demons are simply the work of the legion lying spirits . Like for instance in the garden .You shall surely not die look at me (Ssssss) and live. In effect the lie stating ..."Who need to worship a God not seen". The unseen glory of God departed..

Only the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit of truth can cast out lying spirits called the legion. They come out by fasting (the gospel) and prayer a living hope God will move and dispel the lies of the legion .

The true fast is revealed in a parable (the whole chapter of Isiah 58).

No manner of not eating could cast them out .Jesus the high apostle our High Priest (sent by the father) did not eat for 40 days. It was then in a weakened state that the spirit of lies does enter in and try to temp the Son of man and the father working together as one God.

Again its not the kind of food or lack of it that could cast them out . Jesus said his food which the disciples knew not of was to do the will of the father that did work in the Son of man. . to both will, the desire of the father and the power of the father to perform it.

Satan the father of lies continually accuses the brethren in that way day and night (24-7).

Like Jesus we must pray and heed to the will of the father and use his power as it is written .Three times the father gave Jesus the words again and again .it is written (the gospel ) It caused the spirit of lies or demons to flee.

Jesus commanded us to cast out demons, which we do in his name. You've turned that simple command into something complicated and difficult when its so straight forward I've seen children do it.
I've been driving demons out for over 40 years, and it's not difficult once you know your status in Christ Jesus.

I see that a little differently. What you offered world seem to be more Hollywood style (Linda Blair)

The status is God is not served by human hands in any way shape or form as if he needed something from the clay he forms Christ in.

Jesus lovingly commanded us to plant the incorruptible seed and water it with His doctrine inspired from above. Preach the gospel . He is the one who can apply it to the heart and form Christ in us. Its why the disciples could not its not a work of mankind. lying spirits come out by prayer and fasting a word that indicates the gospel does all the work

Mankind like Paul did suffer as in pains of new birth in a living hope Christ would do the work .

To attribute that work to any man is simply blasphemy. God is not served by the corrupted hands of a dying creation .

So I not sure what you think you are driving out? No increase comes from corrupted flesh and blood.

We must be careful. Signs follow the unseen work of the gospel the power to hear God not seen who does the work of healing .Its not something we seek after by what some call a sign gift..

The signs are not attributed to the hands of mankind. God is not served by the cornuted hands of dying mankind in any way shape or form .He has no needs but satisfies all.

The laying on of hands is simply a request or prayer an appeal for the mercy of God in a hope he will heal.

Acts 14 seems to show it more directedly . The unbelievers that had no faith of Christ working in them to both will and perform the good pleasure of God . They again with no faith attributed the work of the gospel to the hands of the apostles . Calling them gods in the likeness of men as in many gods. The pagan foundation out of sight out of mind.

You need to stop watching movies if you think obeying the direct commands of scripture to cast demons out is about Hollywood.

So despite what the Lord said, that great cloud of witnesses as revealed in the scriptures, were not really God's obedient servants!

Have you ever done what Jesus commanded of us in Mark16. "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.
If not, then you need to stop commenting on something you don't understand.

We shouldnt have a problem following what Scripture says for us to do then it's totally left up to Him.

Big difference between signs that make a person wonder (not believe ) and prophecy the end of faith, belief.

Signs follow those who believe. They are not something we could seek after as a gift called charismatic a way of self edifying..

Many have tried and have died being bitten by a venous snake.
