Hi again bobber,
Again thanks for your response to my post:
As for your claim that the President can't formulate plans I'm thinking a lot of people disagree with you. As for him not always showing the best of manners how do the Dems score any better? I think that's what Americans would like to know.
While I don't hold out the 'likes' and 'winner' and 'agree' as the holy grail of truth. It does appear, at least on this thread, that there are more in agreement with my assessment than yours.
Listen, you get to vote for whoever you think is the best person for the job and I allow you that constitutional right. However, using false facts to support a position isn't particularly wise. The 'dems' score a lot better at showing basic civility towards others. Yes, they do, just as I have, from time to time wallow in the mud when speaking of Little Donnie Trump, but they aren't in the habit of calling everyone else some derogatory and denigrating name...for the most part. You can search the world over and you won't find a great many examples of any democrat in a leadership position speaking to others by referring to them with name calling.
Now, let me be clear that I am speaking of democrats in leadership positions. Yes, we can all find democrats and republican supporters that use name calling quite a lot. It's actually become much worse over the last 3 years because of the example that is being set as to it's acceptance to do such a thing.
I'm not clear on what questions Mr. Biden stonewalled on. Could you give some examples or point me to the time reference on a link of the debate? Now, did he answer to spluttering questions that Little Donnie Trump asked of him while Little Donnie Trump was interrupting and bulldozing Mr. Biden's two minute 'uninterrupted' time for answering? No! The debate wasn't for him to answer Little Donnie Trumps questions, but the questions asked of him by the moderator, Chris Wallace.
In a debate such as this, there is a moderator who asks prepared questions and the debaters are given an opportunity to express their positions on the subject of the questions. It isn't set up so that each of the debaters get to bombard the other debater with their own loaded questions. Mr. Biden chose, and I believe rightfully so, to pretty much ignore Little Donnie Trumps unrestrained outbursts. Yes, there were a couple of times that he got drawn into it, and that's not a good thing and something that I'm sure Mr. Biden will work to improve for the next debate.
God bless,
Ted
