I have read quite a few like Solo Leveling, Overgeared, etc. Are there any completed series that anyone could recommend for me that they really enjoyed? I would love to check out some more if possible? This is a pretty niche category so I'm not sure if there are more out there that are worth reading.

It's not something I'm into but a streamer mentioned a manga and anime so I looked at this page:

List of best-selling manga - Wikipedia

You could try browsing that, it even has demographic audience tabs.

I just realised you're probably looking for less generic stuff and as you said, niche. Anyway you might see something you like on there anyway.

RPG element wise, the most recommended has an ongoing season, but is fairly complex in the execution, very thought out: Log Horizon

If you want something that's less about video games, there's Grimgar Of Fantasy and Ash or Goblin Slayer, but they definitely still give that feeling of a hack and slash with sword and sorcery as a focus

Dot Hack series is decent, though it ties into the games more after a while, like Dot Hack Roots or others. Dot Hack Sign is fine on its own, I suppose

Question, do you like romance manga/light novels/anime? If so, I might have a suggestion for you. There's a light novel that got turned into an anime about a year or two ago called Violet Evergarden. A new movie is actually coming out in Japan in 3 days.

Basically, it's about a girl who was used as a tool of war in the military in a place called Leidenschaftlich. Because of her environment, she never understood emotions or feelings. fair warning, it can get pretty dark and it's definitely a tear-jerker. Also all the physical copies of the light novel that I know of are all in Japanese. There have been digital translations though if you don't mind not having a physical one.

the rising of the shield hero is pretty good, it even has an anime adaptation you could watch.
it doesn't take place in a video game but the world works like a game where you have to level up and stuff. its about a guy who was summoned to an alternate world as a hero along with 3 others but it turns out he's considered the weakest hero, there's also prejudice toward him in the world so no one will join his party except for one person who later accuses him of terrible things thus branding him a criminal and outcast. because of this, his heart grows cold to the world but eventually meets others who soften it.
