I think uncertainty is a better position to have than a staunch attitude of a certain hubris rightness. Aren't we told that we aren't filled in on ALL the mysteries of God (not sure of the passage, however).

I believe we can (and *should*) continue to grow and learn about God and His Scripture. Once we believe we have it all figured out - we will close our minds and hearts to His Truth.

Is it okay to NOT HAVE A POSITION

Of course it is.

I start and finish on the biblical truth that Jesus is coming again.

When he comes either I will be alive and will experience it or I will be dead and will experience it that way.
That is all that matters.

I think it is God's desire for Christians to understand the end time prophecies and to reconcile the end times prophecies throughout the bible with one another.
Good, if only people would promote what the Bible does say, not their opinions and assumptions.
I view the Prophetic Word as the complete story of Gods Plan for mankind. It is all there, just somewhat mixed up. It requires an open mind, with logic and common sense to sort it out.
Daniel 12:10b does say that a few will understand, not the many.

I almost completely agree with you here, Keras. I'd just clarify and say it takes a sincere desire for the Truth and reliance on the Holy Spirit to sort it out.

I agree, most humans like to argue.
Also; most humans like to believe fables, fanciful notions and incredible theories, as Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:3-4. And when they do, their minds will be closed to the truth. Isaiah 29:9-12, Ephesians 4:18
This is the reason for the continued controversy here and everywhere else, about the future. People have chosen to believe false teachings, but no amount of Bible truth presented will change their minds. Although there are wonderful stories of people who have overcome what they were taught.

They have overcome in both directions so it seems. That we have free will is about all that is proven, that some can change their minds. A lot has to do with the point that Satan has deceived all, even the body of Christ, one way or the other. The one being who has been thinking and planning for almost 7000 years.
