Remember that God is like the woman who loses a precious coin:

To be honest my own walk with God has been very unstable... My faith has become very weak over the years and my relationship with God isn't good... I left God for someone and have a lot of resentments towards God. I've also done wrong and I feel like God is very angry with me. I've been trying my best to pray but to be honest I have been experiencing many attacks too and it can get very distressing and debilitating...

God is not angry with you dear sister. It makes him sad whenever anyone departs from him. If you seek to return to him he will return to you because he loves you. He has already gone out to meet you like the prodigal son who returned to God after leaving him to live a life of sin. Your job is not to listen to the tempter that wants you not to return to God. Your job is to BELIEVE Gods' Word when he says that he is faithful and just to forgive you for your sins and to cleanse you from them *1 JOHN 1:9. Without faith it is impossible to please God for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Faith is the condition of recieving God's promises. God has already answered your prayers all you need to do is to return to him and hold out the hand of faith to beleive and receive his gifts to you. When tempted to doubt God's promises go to God is prayer. He will be your strength resist the devil and he will flee from you.

He meant to ask if you go to church. Is it right to assume that people using black magic are Buddhists?

It's important to go to church, have fellowship with the pastor and other believers and be baptized. Martin Luther said “there is on earth no greater comfort than baptism” and he proved this in his personal life and experience. Luther admitted that when he was in the distress of affliction and anxiety he comforted himself by repeating, “I am baptized! I am baptized!”

Baptism and God's word (read and heard) are very important. As you get closer to God you learn fasting and praying to God whom you know and have fellowship with.

Sorry to hear that you have a lot of resentments towards God. I hope that you have a chance to discuss this with your church pastor and come to be reconciled. It is for reconciliation of people with God that He became a human being, suffered and was resurrected.

Just ignore it. Black magic doesn't exist.

Put your life and destiny in the hands of God. There is no ritual to block evil intentions and demonic requests. There is only putting your faith in God to secure your life according to His purposes, and dealing with the situations in life that leave us susceptible to demonic influence. You need to be studying scripture so that you know who God is and how eager He is to forgive you. You need to be in fellowship with the full body of Christ found in His church. You need to be praying regularly, including the Lord's prayer which itself contains an exorcism. That is how you fight evil intentions and demonic request, you put your life in God's hands, not theirs or yours. As for your family you can pray for protection, and prepare yourself to begin teaching them about God.

1 John 4:4 (KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

IF indeed Jesus lives in you through being born again.
How?
Confess you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
Believe that Jesus died for your sins (as your Savior)and rose from the dead (as your King).

To put it simply, call upon Jesus to save you from your sins.

You ask us here about "fellowship." The advice Carl gave deserves your consideration. We, as Christians, are called to fellowship and, also, told of its benefits.

Rather than torture yourself privately with doubts and worries, seek out a good Christian church in your area, be nurtured there, and receive the help and friendship of other believers.

I live in a shared house where the live in landlady is into 'witch' things! The house is weird. Apparently her daughter and her husband are into it big time too!

I have a blessed St Benedict Crucifix above my bedroom door, crucifix on my wall, Divine Mercy pic on my wall and my Rosary on my bed....

Pray to God for protection and guidance. And, dont worry as God will look after you.

Read John's Gospel over and over again so you will come to know who Jesus is fully. He will help you against any black magic, etc. As you read it over and over it will start making sense.

The devil only has power if God allows it. Generally God will not allow the devil access to you. But if he does it is for one of two purposes:

1) A test to see how you handle struggle, a test of patience and faithfulness
2) It may also happen as a correction for sin

But generally God will not allow it. Just continue in prayer, and God will strengthen you.
